A little update:
Exactly 10 weeks out. 120 and Abs are showing…..Hamstrings still need ALOT of work! But they will get there. As I mentioned before about distractions…..I have NONE, so it’s on. Very much in training mode, my friends and family have just been so awesome….along with some New* great friends. West Texas Classic (NQ) Lubbock - March 28
is what I’m reaching for….but if that one is too soon then there will always be the next month.
I’m planning on weighing in at 108-112, but if I look good at 118….then that is what it will be!
Best of luck to everyone out there in Bodyspace land, with all their fitness goals….keep working hard!!

15 weeks out and I feel strong! I know a have a lot of hurdles to jump till March 28th, but I am a lot more aware going in this time. Been hitting my upper body hard…better form. All in all I’m just super stoked about 2009 and all the posibilities in store for me. Keeping my head right, & keeping my head up.

ok…As everyone as my witness…I am cutting off ALL distractions. Starting immediately! Been sick and haven’t been able to workout. Not cool man. And because of my low energy levels…I’ve been taking in WAY too many carbs.
What do you all do when people that are close to you do not lead healthy lifestyles? I have the tendency to fall into temptation easily lately….(eating junk with buddies or eating feelings lol). I’m not into the party scene or drinking, but junk foods are definitely something I battle with. I guess this goes along with the whole ‘distraction’ issue. I guess when a persons life changes dramatically its hard to find the ‘flow’ again. I recently moved in alone and had to stop training for health reasons, pretty much in the same time period.
Seems like the only way for me to focus is to cut negative and semi-negative out of my life.

Ideally everyday would be a good day, but they are not all created equal. Today, Nov 5th…happpens to be a good day, despite the fact that Obama won the election…
I have put my mom on a diet and she is having a lot of success, which makes me very happy for her! I woke up extra early and got my workout in. It wasn’t the best one I’ve had BUT I went and that is what matters today, lol. I am thankful for the rest period I had (no gym/diet at all)….I feel ready now. Mentally stronger…the physical will fall into place soon….Like i said…Today is a good day

What inspires you? For me, it changes. Sometimes I’m inspired by peoples doubts, or by someones possitive influence. I took a pretty long rest period to regain some sainity and mental strength to take on my next competition with a clear, focused mind. It seems like once I get REALLY focused an outside stress would take my attention away, lol….distractions. How do we turn our mind away from these ‘distractions’…relationship drama, peoples opinions, etc….
