Shoulders And Arms

Logy!

(And now that I’ve finished the Logy song, I think I’ll get to the point of the blog!)

Shoulders and arms were feeling a bit tired from the chest and back workouts, so I took it easy on their respective days.

Shoulders

Wide Grip Bench Press

Rear Delt Raises

Cardio was 16 minutes on the elliptical.

Cable Triceps Extensions (Overhead)

Cable Triceps Extensions (Uh-of the normal variety?)

One set of 21’s with an olympic bar.

Cardio was 16 minutes on the elliptical.

Back and Traps

Every so often, I manage to dig down deep and pull one seriously amazing workout out of my arse.

Today wasn’t one of those every so often moments.

Barbell Rows (Close Grip)

Dumbbell Rows (Incline)

Pullups (Hammer Grip)

Barbell Shrugs

My Final Thoughts….

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

-No workouts the last couple of days.  Not sure why.  Maybe it was all the busy-business getting in the way.  Perhaps I listened to Warrant’s mind-numbing "Cherry Pie" one time too many.  Maybe I was just being a lazy boob.

No worries though, Superfriends.

Back at it tomorrow

-Voltron at 2 o’clock in the morning sure does make me feel better about my poor sleeping habits.

Chest (And A Bit O’ Legs!)

Oy vey, I am tired!!

And sore.  Mustn’t forget to mention the sorness.

Workout #1 was a quick chest workout.  Progress continues to move in the right direction, so all is good there.

Barbell Bench Press

Workout #2 was a hellacious, leg burning quest to relocate 3 tons of pellets from my driveway to my basement (a.k.a.  My Rapidly-Shrinking-Gym!).
(By the way, that really isn’t as much fun as it sounds.)

(Though it is as painful as it sounds.)

Cardio

I’m not completely awake yet, but that hasn’t stopped me from advancing my newfound obsession with pumpkin (today in the form of two Pumpkin Roll cakes), and avoiding all forms of manly around-the-house chores.

Cardio was just a thirty minute dash on the elliptical today, while pretending to be interested in whatever was playing for music.

(Actually, come to think of it, I did kinda enjoy a couple of They Might Be Giants tunes.)

My Final Thoughts…

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

-Okay shoulder workout today.  The weights were light, the right shoulder was achy, but the cardio was so delightful!

-Good eats were good eats.  Spot on for most of the day.  I managed to dodge some candy corn urges and a nostalgic Now And Later candy attack, but was done in by a darn afternoon lemon bar ambush!
