No time for the Elliptical of Joy this morning. I was planning to get up early and do it, but I punked out (Damn late night staring-at-the-ceiling!). Instead, I’m thinking of having the kids hide the sugar laden sweets I’d most likely snack upon throughout the day. I’m guessing I’ll burn a lot of fat searching, cursing and just plain threatening the kids to re-produce said goodies.

*That there is the German word for doughnut- a strawberry frosted, autumn be-sprinkled doughnut!
I thought it sounded a lot less sugar and fat laden than the English word for doughnut, which is still doughnut!
And if it sounds a lot less sugar and fat laden than it has to be a lot less sugar and fat laden!
Right?

I used to think that people who were strange, off-putting, and just a bit mentally disturbed/unstable grew up to be President of Iran. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they also deliver over-priced furniture ordered by my wife from a place called Yuppy Barn (or is it Pottery? I can never be sure!).
Oh well. He’s gone now. The door’s are all locked. And I managed to put in a decent leg day.
Now if only I could put the kids on MUTE for an hour or so. Then the day would be perfect.

-I guess there was no need to worry about the quality of today’s workout. My shoulders are all kinds of sore right now.

I may require a Girl Scout Cookie fix in the near future!
Pre Workout/Breakfast: Milk, oats, yogurt, apple, glutamine, cinnamon, whey.
Workout: Water, creatine, dextrose, whey.
Post Workout: Chili
Post Post Workout: Granola and milk
Snack: Cheese and crackers*
Meal 4: Steak and fries
Meal 5/Good Night Shake: Water, cottage cheese, peanut butter, glutamine, cinnamon, whey.
*I was going to go with peanut butter crackers but realized I’ve got enough fat going on in the routine so I switched to some light cheese.
Just a minor Samoas craving earlier today. Nothing too drastic. No Girl Scouts were harmed or forced to hand over the secret stashes I know they keep in their underground fortress.
I guess that makes it a good day.

Today feels like a Logyday. Yes, I know it’s a Monday, but given the massive amounts of Blah I’m giving off today, I think it’s safe to say that today feels like a Logyday.
I’ve managed a few sparks of energy today, namely in my workout (which wasn’t as awe-inspiring as I would have hoped), and in the kitchen, but nothing that could snap the Logyday feeling.
My only hope now is if a child does something wrong and sends me into a kid-kicking rage.
Well, technically not really a rage. And not so much kid-kicking. More like a finger-wagging, "I’m going to give you extra school work and take away anything with even a trace of sugar if you persist in your efforts to *insert heinous and punish-worthy offense*"
Of course, kid-kicking sounds so much better.
Alright, I’ll turn my babble-off and get on with the show.
Okay shoulder day. I had a small, niggling pain in my right shoulder that keeps popping up during chest and shoulders. Since today was shoulders, it popped up. Extra warm up next time.
