-My legs are one big ouchie-boo-boo right now!! I’m not looking forward to that first stumble out of bed in the morning.
Come to think of it, the second and third stumbles are going to suck as well.
-I was hoping to have a good excuse as to why I was laughing so much while watching The Upside Down Show with my ex-two year old, but I have none. It’s just a good show.
I’m not ready to put it in the upper echelons of kids shows with Blue’s Clues (The Steve Years), but it’s darn close.
(Okay, the dork moment has passed.)
(Or has it?!?!?!)

Getting my Sunday grub on!
Kinda.
Pre Workout/Breakfast: Milk, oats, yogurt, apple, glutamine, cinnamon, whey.
Workout: Water, creatine, dextrose, whey.
Post Workout: Chili and brown rice.
Meal 3: Granola and milk.
Snack: Pecans
Meal 4: Grilled chicken breast and bread.
Snack: Pecans
Meal 5/Good Night Shake: Water, cottage cheese, peanut butter, glutamine, cinnamon, whey.
There were a few mini pretzels sprinkled in throughout the afternoon, but only a few. Not enough to warrant their own place in the Good Eats list.
Not even enough to send my blood sugar levels past the legal limit.

I know Cat Punting still is not recognized as an Olympic sanctioned event, but I still hold out hopes of one day standing upon the podium with a gold medal around my neck. This (and an insane urge for one more hour of peace and quiet) was all the motivation I needed this morning to put in one of my better quad workouts.

-My back feels great.
-My shoulders are feeling pretty beat up from the chest and back workouts, so I guess I’ll wait a day to work them.

-A gallon of gas is cheaper than a gallon of milk?!?! Whoa! The kiddies and I will be having a long talk about what’s going in their bowls of cereal!!

Twas a great workout all around today. I’m steadily making my way back up to form.
I was looking for more reps on the bench press, but must not have been looking hard enough. Not a problem. I’m having an unusually good run on patience lately.
In other non newsworthy news, my calves are still burning from today’s workout!

*No, the asterisks are not there to denote the possibility of performance enhancing drugs. Rather to show that the number of reps are for each leg, not just one leg.
In case you were wondering.
Yeah, me neither.
Cardio was 18 minutes on the Old School Elliptical listening to Ozzy, Metallica and GnR.
