*I really need to stop grilling so much food at one time.
I’ve been cutting back on the caffeine to just one cup of caffeinated tea a day before switching it up to decaf. Today my caffeinated tea choice was Ban Cha- a toasted version of green tea.
Not bad.

"Gee, Brain, What do you want to do tonight?"
"The same thing we do every night, Pinky- Try to take over the world!"
(Sorry. I was up most of the night with that theme song stuck in my head.)
Decent workout today. I managed to up my strength a bit since the last incline session.
Incline Bench Press (Dumbbells)
Olympic Bar (25)
50 (5)
70 (2)
80 (9)
85 (4,3)
75 (10,8)
Weighted Dips

Bodyweight (10)
On the last +60 set, I dropped the weight and immediately went to bodyweight. On the last four reps, I paused at the bottom for a one SCOOBY-DOOBY-DOO count before using all my strength to explode upward while not crying like a little kid who’s just been told Pinky and the Brain has been cancelled.
OW
Incline Flyes
40 (11,9,9)
*SUPERSET* * SUPERSET *
Barbell Calf Raises (Wide Stance)

Bodyweight Calf Raises (14,14,14,14,14,)
*END SUPERSET* *END SUPERSET*
Cardio was 20 minutes on the elliptical (2 min. warm up, 10 min. Interval Training, 5 min. cool down) while listening to Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins.

-With the exception of my quads, all of my muscles are well rested and ready to be beat upon once again starting tomorrow.
-Doughnuts. Nothing fancy. Just some cheap, stale, sitting-on-a-gas station-shelf, Hostess Powdered Doughnuts.
That’s what I could go for right now.
I’ve probably condemned myself to dream about doughnuts all night.
Oddly, I’m okay with that.

Low carb day.
I’d rather have my head in a tub of sugar.
Oh well. It is what it is.
Pre Workout: Caffeine
Workout: Water and Whey.
Post Workout: Water, oats, cottage cheese, apple, flax, whey, cinnamon.
Post Post Workout: Water, oats, cottage cheese, peanut butter, whey, cinnamon.
Post Post Post Workout: Chicken
Post Post Post Post Workout: Water, oats, cottage cheese, peanut butter, whey, cinnamon.
Snack: Almonds
Meal 5/Good Night Shake: Water, cottage cheese, peanut butter, whey, cinnamon.
Too many cravings today. I just kept fighting them off with quick shakes.
I kept the oats servings small and spaced throughout the day. This way I shouldn’t have anymore late night dreams about hamburgers and pizza.
Hopefully.

Busy-Busy-Busy morning, though I did make time to referee another round of Sibling Death Match (Too close to call, so it ended up being a draw).
Today I weighed in at 205.4 (2.2) which I’m going to chalk up to the unBOBly amounts of water I’ve been consuming the last few days. Bodyfat was down by scale measure and everything looked fine in the mirror, so no need to panic.
Just a quick ab and cardio day today. Nothing to write home about, though apparently something to blog about.
Decline Crunches
Bodyweight (10)
+10 (10)
+25 (16,16,16,14,14)
Super Crunches*
(12,12,12,12)
*If there is a technical name for when you do a upper and lower crunch at the same time- keep it to yourself becuase mine sounds SUPERHERO COOL!!!
Cardio was just 45 minutes of elliptical while head bobbin’ to STP, GnR, Metallica, and Dolly.
Parton.
Shut it!

-Well, I’m not crying when I have to walk up stairs, but my legs are still sore. It was a good workout.
-I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I may have overdone it with the kidney beans in my burrito mix. That’s all I should probably say about that.

It’s a beautiful, Mr. Roger’s kind of day here in Massachusetts. (Don’t worry, I shan’t break into song-yet!)
No problems with today’s workout. I’ll wait and see how my legs are feelin later to decide if it was a good workout. My triceps have been sore for days now, so I took it easy with those exercises.
ATG Squats
Bar (20)
135 (5)
185 (5)
205 (5)
210 (5)
215 (5)
220 (5)
165 (10)
The plan was to keep going until I couldn’t hit five, but my knees were buckling and I started to feel that oh-so-familiar twinge in my right knee, so I called it a day at 220.
Squats (Heels Together)
110 (12)
EZ Bar Lunges
110 (12)
Dumbbell Skull Crushers
25 (10)
35 (10,9)
Cable Pressdowns
70 (10)
95 (10)
105 (4)*
*There’s only so many times I can take smacking myself in the face with the bar before I call it a day.
Cardio was 20 minutes of level 16, Roy Orbison inspired minutes on the elliptical.

-Wow, I ache! Definitely a good workout today. I probably did too much trap work, but no big deal.
-I won’t even waste time looking for a way out of quads tomorrow. I’m kind of looking forward to it- if only to be done with them for another week.
-"What is it with McDonald’s staff who pretend they don’t understand you unless you insert the ‘Mc’ before the item you’re ordering? It has to be a McChicken burger…a chicken burger gets blank looks. Well, I’ll have a McStraw and jam it into your McEyes, you f**cking McTosser!"
