Chest and Cardio and Cardio

-I had some trouble getting out of bed this morning, an insane urge to not get out of bed this morning not withstanding.

Even though the winter has been mild, February is almost over, and it’s almost leprechaun hunting season, I still find myself waking up in one of those moods, like I did on this bleary-eyed, logy and apathetic morning.

Nothing to do about it but roll out of bed and ignore it.

Decline Bench Press

210 (10)

220 (7,8,8,7)

210 (8)

185 (10,10)

Bleh.  Everything felt alright, but mentally I was just out of it and not too aware of what was going on.

Flat Bench Press.

185 (7)

150 (10,10,7,6,)

On the last two sets, I brought the weight down and held it for a two count (yes, SCOOBY DOOBY DOO!) before exploding upward.  Haven’t done that in a while, so it felt great.

Kind of waking up and starting to feel normal.

Dumbbell Pullovers

80 (9)

70 (9)

60 (9)

Done.

Cardio #1 was 20 minutes of sweat drenching, Alice and Chains dropping, what’s-the-highest-resistance-on-this-thing, 750 calories killin’ elliptical.

Now I’m awake and ready to get through the day.

Cardio #2 was 45 minutes of slowly shoveling the 1 and a half inches of snow off the driveway and walkways.
