I love vanilla flavored tootsie rolls!
Other than that, nothing special today with eating.

Quick workout today. On the compounds, I alternated pauses at the top and bottom on each set. Not too much rest during the isolation phase of workout.
Feeling logy and out of it right now. Too tired.

Just to recap my misadventures today:
-I splattered myself with foam sealant (very sticky stuff. Very painful to get off once dried. Only comes off with nail polish remover)
-Put together a couple of benches the wrong way (in my defense, my way was easier than the right way)
-Messed up my lawn mower.
-Couldn’t fix a leaky faucet
-And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse (I’m the classic victim), as the sun was setting, I finally found the damage done by high winds a few days ago. I have shingles missing off the roof. No, with the day I was having, I wasn’t stupid enough to get up on the roof to try and fix them.
*SIGH*
Time to put this day to bed
Tomorrow I vow to be the windshield…

I’ve been scarfing down my usual shakes and meals in between proving I have no clue how to be a handyman. Right now I’m munching away on a powerbar cut up to resemble candy pieces. It does the job.

Caloo! Calay! Had a cool workout today. For the first time in my illustrious history of hanging leg raises, I finally managed to go over ten reps in all four sets.
Thank you. Thank you very much!
What’s that, my friend? How long did I rest in between sets?
STFU!
Of course this accomplishment doesn’t help to alleviate the facts that I put together two benches the wrong way, plastered myself with foam sealant, messed up the lawn mower, and couldn’t fix a leaky faucet (all in one day), but I’ll take what I can get.
Oh yeah, the rest of my workout was pretty darn good as well. Nothing noteworthy, but it didn’t suck like the rest of my day has.
Today I am the bug…

-Just four more days, and then the Great Pumpkin rises from it’s pumpkin patch to announce its bid for the 2008 presidency. Are you ready?
-My chest and back are aching. I love it!
-Abs and cardio tomorrow. I’m thinking lower abs and a quick HIIT session on the bike.

I haven’t been too focused on my bulk these past few weeks. I still have increased the calories in my pre and post workout shake, but not too much. I haven’t stepped on the scale to check my results either. I’m not worried about the results right now, just the exercising.

Why I woke up with the theme to the Smurfs running through my head, I’ll never know, since I was thinking about the theme to Camp Candy last night-again.
I’m going to have to make some changes to my back routine. Everything felt stale today and I had to do more sets and reps to feel like I was crushing (yeah, I said CRUSHING!!) my back. I went heavier than ever on weighted pull ups, barbell rows, and dumbbell rows, but still wasn’t feeling it. Finally, I just lowererd the weights and went for rep after rep after rep. Next week, we switch up the order of things, probably throwing pull ups in after rows, and/or maybe even after deadlifts.

-Five more days until the Great Pumpkin rises from the pumpkin patch and takes away all the candy and toys from those who don’t believe… or so I’m told.
-Back day tomorrow. Last week I put a lot of effort into the weighted pull ups and dumbbell rows, but slacked on the barbell rows. I don’t want to make that mistake again tomorrow.

In between my normal eating habits, I threw in a snack of twizzlers and green tea. It wasn’t as good as, say, a snack of Hostess cinnamon crumb cakes and green tea, but you work with what you’ve got.
Man, it’s cold out here.
