Everything’s off schedule. I’m craving most of the crap in the house (the kind that offer no nutritional value at all:twizzlers, tootsie rolls).
I need to get my butt in gear and make dinner before I’m scarfing all the crap in site.

Eyes: Bleary.
Mind: Numb
Hip Flexors: Aching like a mother!
Hand: Soaking in warm water.
SOAKING IN WARM WATER?!?
Some kid is really going to get it this morning!
Oh my, am I going to need a nap later on this afternoon!
Anyhoo:
I extricated my butt out of bed this morning after another poor nights sleep, glad that I only had to contend with abs and cardio.
I focused on my lower abs today. I just don’t get hanging leg raises. I just can’t get the feel of them in my abs, even with a bend in my knee. I do them anyway, because my hip flexors feel better after stretching and focusing on them.
Good cardio day. It woke me up and will help me get through the day.

Blue skies. Crisp air. Leaves changing. It can only mean one thing.
Six more damn months until 24 season premier.
On a side note, I can’t believe how sore my calves are from Friday’s workout. Will the pain ever end?
I hope not.

The cool weather is wreaking havoc with my water consumption. I’m going to have to up my tea drinking if I want to get my daily allotment in.
I must drink more green tea!
I must drink more green tea!
P.S.
My back felt great today after all that stretching this morning. Only now is it starting to tighten up again.

I could not believe how tight my lower back was this morning! There was no way I was going to get any trap work done properly, so I decided to wait and instead have an arm day.
After about a half hour of warming up and stretching my lower back, I finally got going. Overall, it was a great workout. I substituted close grip bench press with close grip military presses. I felt a better overall workout in both arms, as opposed to just one arm doing the work. Dips, tricep presses, and skull crushers finished off the job.
I’m getting quite the pump with the EZ bar curls. I was feeling so good, I threw in a few sets of close grip pull ups. Dumbbell curls and reverse curls followed to finish off my arms.

I wasn’t able to catch up with my diet today. I wasn’t that hungry at dinner (Steak, sweet potato), and I just wasn’t as hungry as I normally am throughout the day. I’m not worried though, and I don’t plan on overindulging to make up for it tomorrow.
I did manage to finish off my good night shake. Don’t want to neglect that one.

I got up a little late today, and now I’m behind on my nutrition. I’d better step it up if I don’t want to stay up late tonight with my final shake.

WAHHHH!
My calves still hurt!
WAHHHH!
My abs are killing me!
WAHHHH!
I just don’t want to!
These are just some of the excuses I’ve used in the past to get out of doing my leg workout.
But no more. (Well at least not until summer!)
Today’s leg workout almost brought me to tears, and with all the sweating going on, maybe I did cry (who knows?)
From deadlifts to squats, my numbers already exceed last years bests. I’ve also got my form down now on the heels together squats, so now the weights are really starting to go up.
My thigh measured in at 26 when all was said and done.
By the time cardio came around, I could barely move, let alone make it for the full 20 minutes.
I was definitely glad when I had made it to the end of the workout.

Not a day for learning on the forums.
-Grown adults resorting to insulting some of the younger posters. Granted, one or more ofthe younger posters were obnoxiously set in their ways, and I didn’t agree with them, but not an excuse to sink to their levels.
-And it is beyond me why people follow around someone they dislike, posting in their threads. Granted, the person they dislike might be a lover of drama, but why can’t they just ignore it and move on? Eventually, someone has to be the bigger person and say, "Enough!"
It just doesn’t make sense following all their postings, continuing this crap, even bringing up old threads from long ago. Get over it. Move on.
Oh, well. Good night.

On target, as usual, although it’s not as easy while trying to skip the powerbars on a day to day basis. I’m not opposed to them, I just don’t want to waste the money on them as often as I have been.
MMMMM. Granola and whey!
