Wouldn’t you know it. I took a week off to give my body a rest after finishing my last workout, and can you believe it, just when I’m about to get back into the gym and hit it hard, I get taken out by a flu bug.
Don’t think it’s the dreaded swine flu, but it’s sure depressing. I swear I can see all of my hard work melting away right before my eyes. Who gets the flu in May?????

I’m starting week 3 of the MF High Low workout today. This has by far been one of the more challenging workouts I’ve tried.
I’ve been a little lazy with my diet, and there have been a few "Social Gathering" type set backs, but I think I am starting to see some progress. My muscle endurance has increased, and my strength seems to be holding par. My wieght hasnt changed, but I have moved a couple of notches on my belt, so I know I’m losing some of that unwanted stomach fat.
The workouts in weeks three and four really step it up, so I’m going to have to stay more focused on my diet, and keep my protien intake up around 200 to 250. I’m still trying to find away to get more than four hours of sleep per night. Hope to get some progress pics up, I’ve just been too busy to get them done.

I’ve decided to mix things up a little bit, been doing the same workout for about three months now. Thinking about trying the Highs and Lows workout from the May issue of Muscle and Fitness. Anybody have any experience with this split? I’ve always worked in a few high rep low wieght workouts each month, but nothing like this.

Woke up this morning and felt like absolute sh%t. I’ve got a headache that could sideline an elephant. I’m gonna go do arms in a few minutes, and see if I can work this off.

Wow, had no motivation today. Training partner is out of town for a long weekend, didn’t realize what a crutch she was.
