Ive been trying this for my most recent bulk cycle and thats what Ive been doing is just eating more good foods and lots of protein. I definitely think its working but the weight is coming on alot slower. I feel and look bigger but it just doesnt show up on the scales like previous bulking ill continue with it for a while and see if i gain any more.

I'd recommend checking out the Scivation diets. They have one on clean bulking that is pretty good. Lot's of broccoli and chicken breast, low carb (reloading 1 meal every 3rd day). Look at the last book in their list. They're all free downloads. www.scivationbooks.com

You seem to do great at cutting... clean bulking is just similar, increasing your slow carbs progressively and keeping a high protein intake - while increasing lifts...

That has been my understanding of a clean bulk. Clean eating and high protein intake with gradual increeases while hitting the iron.

haha, I know what you mean. I feel like I just turned 23 a few years ago, but as long as we take care of ourselves we will just get better as we age (like a fine wine lol). Good luck with your goals. You're looking great!

So true... thanks for the reminder! I'm currently in tech school, and over a month ago was diagnosed with tendonitis in my feet (can hardly run b/c it hurts); was on a waiver, not allowed to do PT (physical training)- and gained a couple pounds- physical limitations can really get one down if there is no dedication there.... Just got some inserts from the foot dr. and gonna hit it hard to the best of my ability- dedication is key! Thank you so very much for posting this!!!
