Finally over 200

For the longest time I struggled with 185 lbs on a bench press. Most of my problems were I couldn’t find people to workout with, and when I do find people its hard to try to test your limits with people who aren’t motivated. I know I could ask someone there to spot me but I am extremely shy.

I was working out with my buddy Tom in a gym in NF where we happened to be the only people there, so I figured I would try 205, and I did it no problem. I wanted to go heavier. So we put on 225 lbs, and I got half way up and I thought I was going to do it but then Tom thought I was having too much trouble and grabbed the wieght. I thought I had it so I tried again and had no juice left.

At least I know Tom was doing his job as a spotter and jumoped in, that will give me confidence as I move up in wieght. My goal isn’t to become a power lifter but does it ever feel amazing when you bench 205 lbs!!!

If this isn’t motivation I don’t know what is…….

A boxing club just opened up across the street. I boxed ever since I was 14 and kind of stopped when I joined the army. Now there is one across the street!!!! Insane!!!! I am also in Jiu Jitsu so I will box twice a week and Jiu Jitsu 3 times possibly 4 when I travel back to New Brunswick on Saturdays.
