So now I have to figure out what I want to accomplish. I am sure you have all heard of muscle memory, well, I am counting on it. I have had long layoffs before,but this one is different. It was 16 months but it just feels different. I mean I feel a lot older than I actually am. Maybe its just all those years of heavy lifting that have found a way to sneek up on me after the long layoff. Maybe being older.........aahhh, who cares! Yeah, I'm older, but I am also supposed to be wiser. So as I write this I will have been back lifting for roughly 3 weeks. My schedule is just every other day with extra days of rest when I need them. I hit my split as follows; chest, back, delts, legs, arms. I'll use this for a month then change it up a little. So far muscle memory has been good to me, I just have to be careful to not push too hard too soon, no matter how good I feel. Some supplements have a way of hiding just how taxed your body is and I think that can have a negative impact on recovery.
