Home made weigh gain shakes!
November 7, 2007I though I’d share with my friends on bodybuiling.com my personal reicipe for my weight gain shakes.
16oz skim milk
1/2 serving chocolate muscle juice weight gainer
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 banana
mix all together in a blender, and drink!

Protein 52grams
Carbs 136
fat 28 grams
there you go! and it tastes good too!

July 17, 2007Weell, as of yesterday my doctor said i could start light lifting again! YEAH!! I had hernia surgery 2 weeks ago and after a few complications i am able to hit the gym again! I’ve lost some weght, but not to much. I am ready to get back in and start training hard. I do have another 2 weeks till i can start lifting heavy he said, but just being back in the gym is great for me! Especially since everyone i’ve talked to said they did not start back till 4 weeks after. But my doc says I am goosd, so i trust him and i am hoping for a very fast recovery!
motivation
June 11, 2007Well, i’ve still been in the gym going for my goals! Currently at 181 now. My training had been slowing down a little, was findig it harer to make it to the gym and be motivated. Well I went to Battle at the River this past weekend in Chattanooga, and i have a new sense of determination now! Seeing people compete in person, has got to be one of the mose inspiring things in bodybuilding ever! I may not ever compete, but my motivations has been jump started and i’ll keep striving for my goals! Currently going for 185 to 190 and then cutting!

May 7, 2007Back at my home gym, The Rush. Been having some killer workouts this past week. Just finished a back and shoulder workout. It was amazing, still feeling pumped from it! I am making great gains so far, well relative to my past attempts at gaining weight. At 177 now, had always hovered around 168 -172, slowly breaking that barrier. Hoping to hit 185 next month, then cutting time, and maybe if I am lucky might start to lean up by August end, still sometime to show it off at the pool!

April 2, 2007I just did my legs and bic, foreamr workout today! It was awesome! Went up on all my lifts, and was able to meet my goal of 8 reps at 195lbs on squat! as well as 8 reps at 75lbs on bicep curl! And to think i was really tired when i went into the gym tonight!!
Diet
March 20, 2007Well I am bulking, and i am finally watching my diet! I am expecting great gains from it! My daily goal is 4000 calories a day! I made it yesterday and am off to a good start today!
New Workout Program - Short term goals
March 19, 20073-19-07 - going to do chest and tris my goals for today: bench: 175 x 6 incline: 165 x 6 decline: 175 x 8 cable cross overs: 65 x 6 dips: +15 x 6 rope pushdowns: 100 x 8 skull crushers17.5 (eachside) x 6 these are all last set goals! heading to the gym in a few!
still striving for my goal…
December 25, 2006well Christmas is here, so Merry Christmas to those that might read this. The 20th has passed, obviously, and that was the ending date for my goal. I’m sure it was near impossible to actually reach it, but i did try. I gained about 4lbs over that month. So now I am sitting at 172, still the heaviest i’ve weighed. I was weighing 172 before i went to Europe for 6 weeks, so i guess i just regained my lost weight from the trip.
with 50 hour work weeks in the service industry, i was still able to hit the gym 4 days a week, but my diet was the key factor in my minimal gains. I plan on really trying to get my diet on board for the coming months. Still hopeing to get to 185lbs, i’d prefer sooner than later, but steady gains are eventually what gets you there.
i hope to have some good gains by march or april!

December 8, 2006I meant to say that as well, I am 172lbs now. Still need 3 more to go to hit my goal of 175 by december 20th!! I hope it is possible!!
