Ayurveda
Friday, September 28th, 2007I wanted to thank the people that have written comments keeping me motivated to use the gym, at a time when the medical profession has been warning me not to. In fact the medical authorities here in the UK have tried their best to mess up my life entirely, recently.
So over the past two weeks I went to India to an ‘Ayurvedic Resort’ to see if they could help me out. Ayurveda is the traditional herbal medicine system developed over the past 5,000 years and from which most other medicine systems seem to have roots. Well, here I am, somewhat jet-lagged and ready to sleep for a long time, but - I’m feeling great. I have my energy back (despite having been awake for about 36 hours!). I find it impossible to understand how the treatments that I had (2 to 3 hours’ a day) actually worked, but all I can say is that they worked. Conventional medicine would have me believe that it is all imaginary - if that is the case, I wish I’d had imaginary medicine 7 years ago, rather than the plethora of mistakes concocted by conventional medicine!
