New direction
Sunday, June 24th, 2007Back on June 8, eaa40sw explained that he didn’t take measurements when he was pumped as it leads to the expectation to see the same measurements every minute of every day. I agree 100% with his observation that this becomes very discouraging when you look in the mirror and don’t see the ‘pumped’ version of you looking back.
So I am getting somebody else to take the measurements for me - when I’m not pumped.
Er.. there’s good news and bad. The bad news is that my waist is expanding and my fat level’s gone up from 15% - 16.4% (age corrected). I’m not going to rant and rave about this - I knew it was happening. The events over the past 6 months have left my body losing weight uncontrollably one minute, then piling it on the next. So, I’ve asked for a new programme - unlike anything I’ve tried in the past. 4 weeks of high-rep work (20s) and CV work to try to shed some of this fat. Only one slight concern… if my heart rate goes above a certain level of intensity, I tend to have epileptic seizures - so I’ll be wearing a heart rate monitor throughout.
This also gives me time to try to sort out my biceps tendons that are in agony STILL, after 8 months of tendonitis - going to se a physical therapist. It kind of messes up going heavy in back (no pulldowns, rows) Shoulder, Chest and arm workouts. The overall goal here is to increase shoulder and arm size.
