My poor legs

I went an did legs in the evening.  I seem to be stronger right away in the morning versus the evening lifts.  None the less…..I could hardly walk up the stairs when we left.  I hurt good.  They have that tired rubbery feeling this morning.  It turned out well.

Off to do shoulders this morning!

Getting Old

My brother came to visit the last two days and it kind of messed up my routine.  I haven’t seen him for four years.  I was living in Alaska and he was traveling the world.  It was good to see him. It was also perfect timing, because I was pretty sick for the last two days.  I won’t go into the gory details, but I was quite afraid to pass gas while not sitting on the porcelain.

I also picked up my spectacles  today.  I can tell if a woman is cold or not at two miles, but the magazines and books I read are getting a bit blurry.  It happened overnight.  I am not sure why.  Anyways….I picked up the eye glasses and all of a sudden the computer screen is huge!  I can’t use them for anything except close up things.  It brings everything into focus and makes them appear quite large.  There are certain areas in which I am quite proud of myself.  It appears much larger now.  I am going to try to convince the Mrs. to wear them tonight.

Anyways….off to the gym for legs tonight.

More great news.  My lagging partners went to the gym without me yesterday.   I think we have a chance at this contest.  AMS is going to assist us with some supplement ideas.  I think we even have a sponsor!

One of my contest partners showed up.  We did chest and triceps.  I have tried the Controlled Labs Green Magnitude tha last two days.  The link to it is here, http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/clabs/mag.html

 I am not sure if it was the fact that my partner showed up or the Green Magnitude, but I fell huge today.  I experienced a really good workout today!  Yesterday not so much.  I was pooped out yesterday, but struggled through back and biceps.

My back and biceps are sore today and I think my chest and triceps will be crying tomorrow.  I am going to say the Green Magnitude is good stuff.  However, when my partner shows up and is in the mood, we have awesome workouts.  I will give him 30% credit.

Legs Shoulders and Drive!

I did legs yesterday.  It went well.  I can tell, because it is a challenge to walk today!  Shoulders today.

 I have been trying a sample of Drive.  It seems to make you happier somehow.  Soomeone posted on my review three studies showing how Drive affects mica and people diagnosed with depression and schizophrenia.  I am not sure what he is trying to say about me.  The study shows that the ingredients in Drive worked for them though.

I think it is a good supplement.  Nothing will ever repace a good smart workout and a good smart diet though.  Supplements can certainly help!

They showed up!

I have two partners that are on my team.  They don’t ever ever show up at the gym.  If they didn’t show-up today…then I was going to get a new team.  They showed up! 

We did chest and triceps.  The one guy I have been working out with (off and on) for about a year, but the other guy doesn’t workout. He is young and a former football stud, so his transformation should be enormous.

 They pushed fairly hard.  We did chest and triceps.  It was g odd workout and a good day.

I started a test of the supplement Drive.  I took a capsule earl and on an empty stomach and another an hour prior top the workout.  I didn’t notice any big differences.  We will see tomorrow.

I had an okay leg workout today.  I am holding back some to get ready for a transformation contest.  I ended up working out in the evening, when I usually work out in the morning,  The gym is crowded with lots of people in the evening.  Why are these people here?  Are they all really circuit training?

I have three people showing up to workout tomorrow.  We will see.  If they do then we will partner up and go two and two. 

I can’t wait until weigh in on January 7th!
