Blog Entry

Hey guess what!  A new partner.  The last partner decided he could not do any more chest when we were done withthe incline bench.  This guy did the whole workout, but said he thought we should lift heavier and do less sets. We did lift light, but I didn’t want him to be to sore.  He is a bit slow on the 2 mile run, but he will speed up and it was a fun run.

We started with incline bench.  The flat bench presses were beg used.  We warmed up with the bar.  THen we did three sets of ten with 135,  THen we did flat bench.  We started with 155 for a set of ten.  We went up to 185.  The last set I stripped the weights and went for 21 reps.  We also did flat flyes and incline dumbell presses.  Then we called it for chest.

We did dips for triceps.  Then the french press (skull crushers), followed by the cable pushdown.  We burned out with one arm cable.

I don’t think we did that much.  I am not sure if I am going to keep working out with a partnet or not.  The different tempo and ideas on the amount of weight gets to be a distraction.  He talks all of the freaking time too.  He’s my best bud though.

Diet is clean again.  I plan on posting another photo in December and hitting it extra hard for three months and thenanother after photo.

It sounds to me that you are going to be better off without a partner. You don’t seem to be lucking motivation and you just need an occasional spotter. Your workouts are going to be a lot faster. BTW, what happened to improving legs? ;) It’s your blog, but I wanted to share with you that I am leg pressing 630 pounds. Seven plates at 45 pounds x 2. Just sayin… ;)
