Shoulder Day
I have been training with a new partner. He has never lifted much before and is not all that strong. I have been lowering my weight some and focusing on form. It has worked pretty well. Yesterday I showed my new partner what drop down sets were. We rocked the shoulders. I went heavier and then dropped down. He had his girlfriend call me today, because he couln’t move. It was an awesome workout.
We started out with military presses for me and front presses for him. We start out with the bar for a few sets to warm up real well. Then for the last set we put on weight we can only do three times and then drop down, then do what we can and drop down. We also used the cables for finishing work today. I usually use dumbells for side laterals and front laterals. I think the different exercises stressed the muscle a little different. It was a sweet workout.
I am pretty pumped up agan. I have to go do some Sunday cardio. Then to the gym for back and biceps tomorrow. I love the gym!
