Back and biceps

Today is the first day I tried the No Explode.  It did not make me feel jittery, but I had more energy.  My weights increased as well.  It might be a mind thing, but I’ll take it! 

Back was an awesome day!  I love working out.  Biceps are not my favorite part.  You can probably tell from my photograph.  My new partner is young and he likes the bicep workout.  We really focused.  I doubt I will be able to scratch my head tomorrow!  Chest and triceps tomorrow.  That is one of my favorite days!

Shoulder Day

I have been training with a new partner.  He has never lifted much before and is not all that strong.  I have been lowering my weight some and focusing on form.  It has worked pretty well. Yesterday I showed my new partner what drop down sets were.  We rocked the shoulders.  I went heavier  and then dropped down.  He had his girlfriend call me today, because he couln’t move.  It was an awesome workout.

 We started out with military presses for me and front presses for him.  We start out with the bar for a few sets to warm up real well.  Then for the last set we put on weight we can only do three times and then drop down, then do what we can and drop down.  We also used the cables for finishing work today.  I usually use dumbells for side laterals and front laterals.  I think the different exercises stressed the muscle a little different.  It was a sweet workout. 

I am pretty pumped up agan.  I have to go do some Sunday cardio.  Then to the gym for back and biceps tomorrow.  I love the gym!

Two Days!

I missed two days in a row because of work.  I hate not working out.  I think I am going to do some research on clean bulking and start bulking up a bit.  It seems that I eat fat food every time i try to bulk and hn lose the fat when I lose the body fat.  There has to be a way to bulk up on clean food and then when you lose the body fat, end up with more muscle?

Now I am confusing myself!

Still at it

It turns out that my new workmate on nights wants to learn about working out.  I have been doing lighter weights,but strict strict form.  It hurts bad.  We did legs and I was still soe three days later.  It was the stiff legged dead lifts that got me.  I am fishing tomorrow morning, but then to the gym for chest.  My new partner is an inspiration. 

 I can’t wait until tomorrow!

I was moved to the midnight shift at work.  It is killing my sleep schedule, diets and workouts.  I am too tired at the end of my shift to workout, and don’t have as much time as I need before work.  I still managed to squeeze in a workout though.  We will give it a week or two and see if my body can get used to it.  I will have to ask around and see what other midshift workers do.
