I guess we find out on April 30th if we won.  I took a week and kind of rested up.  I went back and did legs pretty hard today.  It was awesome!  I love the gym.  I can’t wait for shoulder day.

 I have managed to keep the weight at 198.  Body fat went up to 11.1%.  I am okay with that.

Weigh out!

It took twelve weeks to do.  The first week we had a big ice storm and the power was out all week.  There were challenges all through thecontest.  My goal was 207 pounds and 9% body fat with the calipers.  I ended up 196 pounds and 7.3 % body fat.  So I was eleven pounds less lean body mass than the original goal.  I am pretty satisified with tit though.  I am not sure if our team won or not.  The team had a 75.6 % improvement.  That would have won the last few years. 

I hope to keep the shape for the summer and not lose to much.  I know the body fat is going to go back up, but I hope not to much.  This fall I will work on bulking up a bit and then getting hard for spring again.  I might have to come up with a different motivation though.  I am not sure what to use……

The team weigh out is in fourteen hours.  We could weigh out today too.  I stopped by for a check and weighed 197 with 8.3% body fat.  I know the scale they use is not accurate, but I am pretty thrilled.  I was 25.5% at the start using the same scale and calipers by the same trainer!.  I passed my goal.  I did want to be a bit meatier though.

I will try to get some after photos.  I am still not a model by a far shot, but I improved from the fat dude to a little more fit dude.  I need to keep it up though!

Four days until weigh out!  I am doing cardio for as long as I can stay awake.  I have oatmeal for beakfast, but otherwise I am eating nothing except for chicken, fish and egg whites. 

I ended up losing 25 pounds so far, but my strength has increased.  After the weighout…. I am going to try to keep going.  Maybe a cheat meal or two a week, but still working out with the same intensity.  Cardio has to decrease afterward.  I am doing cardio three times a day right now with sessions lasting thirty minutes to an hour.
