Only three weeks left in the contest.  I went from 223 to 207 pounds and 25.5% to 15.6 % body fat, so far.  I am not sure if I will be able to hit my original goal in three weeks. 

I had a great leg workout today, but my partner did not show up.  With only three weeks left….I hope I am not losing him. 

More cardio at slower pace, more protein and more protein!

I upped my calories over the weekend wit over 50% coming from protein.  I switched from the Ultramaet protein to the ON protein, because it has less carbs.  I slowed down my cardio nad did more of it.  I lost two more pounds!  I want to stay the same weight and lose bodyfat now.  Somehow I messed this process up.  Four weeks until weigh out.  Going to the gym for leg day.  I love leg day!

Well I’m back from weigh in.  I weighed 209, and bodyfat by three point calipers was 18.5%.  I started at 223 and 25.5% bodyfat on January 12th.  I was hoping to be 209 by the end of the twelve weeks and sigled digits for body fat percentage.  I am not sure of single digits are possible in five weeks or not.  We will make a go of it!

 If anyone has suggestion…. I am all ears.  Or eyes in this case.

Weigh in Day!  I am goingfor a weight check and a vbodyfat test.  I hope it is good.  I am not sure what other food I can cut out of my life.  I eat nothing with flavor now!  I am looking forward to the wiegh in.  I hope I am in the middle teens somewhere.  If not, plug your ears as there will be a loud tirade of profanity coming from the middle of the USA!

I woke up this morning and went for a run.  Brushed my teeth and ran.  No shower, no breakfast!  I showered and ate and then went to work out.  What an awesome leg workout.  I killed them.  They felt enormous after the workout.  I wish they would stay that way, but they seem to shrink after a day or two.  I’m going back tonight for more cardio. 

Diet has been very strict.  I haven’t strayed for quite a while.  In a couple of weeks I might have a cheat meal.  It will be the last one before the weigh out on April 12th.

I need to work on my abs more.  I know you can’t spot reduce, but my abs are stubborn!  I wonder if I should step up the number of ab workouts a week?  I only hit them twice a week now, because everything I read; said to treat abs like any other body part, and diet was most important for abs.  In the twelve week contest I think I am personally responsable for the killing of about 1400 chickens, if you count the egg whites!

I lost my partner.  He had a schedule day at work and can’t work out with me.  I did chest today and it was okay.  Triceps were totally awesome though.  It is hard to get that last rep or two without a partner on the bench presses.

Shoulder day!   I love shoulder day.  We did legs yesterday and it was awesome.  I could hardly make it down the stairs when we were done.  

It seems like the harder I lift and the harder the diet….the better I feel.  I am almost forty, but the old sex drive seems to have stepped up quite a bit too.  You replace your craving for bread and sugar with a craving for the pure sweet stuff!
