I discovered a new gym this weekend.  I love their equipment.  Most of it is the Hammer Strength equipment.  Oddly enough it is part of the James River Church. 

 I have had a bunch od awesome workouts in a row.  My legs even have some muscle showing in them.  They are usually a couple of sticks that make a butt out of themselves.  I am thinking about working out twice today, because I am so pumped up.  I’m not sure if it will be to much or not.  After back and biceps today I was exhausted!

Had an okay workout today.  The last two days I ran with the neighbor.  I finally dropped another pound.  Checked the belly out and dropped an inch.

Wednesday, January 24th, 2007

Went back to the gym today and rocked the shoulders.  It felt awesome!  None of my partners were able to make it, but I got into a zone and forgot anyone else was in the gym.  I will probably need help moving tomorrow.

When I arrived home, my neighbor was in his driveway in his running gear.  We went for a 1.75 mile run. It was a good run after the lifting.  I need to get back into cardio shae too though.  Working out is like a magic pill.  Makes you feel good!

I don’t seem to be losing any more weight, but I do feel like I am making progress.

I have been hitting the weights extremely hard.  If I had money….I would hire someone to scratch my nose.  I awoke early this AM to go work on shouldrs again, but they were still too sore. 

 I did thirty-five minutes of cardio.  At first I would walk a minute then run as fast as I could for a minute.  By the end I would walk two minutes or more and run as fast as I could for almost a minute. 

 

NEVER NEVER NEVER LET YOURSELF GET OUT OF SHAPE AGAIN!

It has been an awesome weekend of working out.  I did Shoulders on Friday, Back and biceps on Saturday and Chest and triceps on Sunday.  Everything hurts so good! 

My partner showed up every day.  We worked the rack on a few sets and I can really feel it.  I need to turn up the cardio a bit though!

No cheat days since we had power restored in our town.  I might have a cheat supper on 01/2/2007.  I will see if I earned it or not.

Challenges

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

What a way to start.  I had been waiting for the weigh in to start the hard work outs.  I had worked out just to keep the ligaments and tendons going until weigh in and did not clean my diet up until the week of weigh in.

 We weighed in on Friday at 2:00 PM and then I had to be at work at 3:00 PM.  My first workout day would be Saturday.  Wouldn’t you know it….it rained and froze on Friday night.  Both gyms were without power.  I lost power on Sunday (during NFL playoffs) and did not get it back until Wednesday at 10:45 AM. 

Only one workout with dumbells the entire time. I managed to keep my diet fairly clean by cooking on a camp stove and grill.  I ate mostly chicken and egg whites. 

 Off to the gym today to see how legs hold up and what my weight ended up being.

 

Now we rock.

Two Days!

Only two days until weigh in.  I have dropped off on working out for the next two days.  My diet is clean now.  Oatmeal in the morning, chicken and eggwhites the rest of the day.  I miss working out though.  I think I am addicted to it!
