It has been a while since I posted due to returning to UK for a few weeks to catch up with work family and friends. Although I did do some workouts when I was there not as much as normal and my diet slipped attrociously! I’m actually reasonable happy that I didn’t do as much damage with my bad habits as I thought although getting back into proper training in the last week or so has proved more difficult than planned. This was mainly due to trying to pick up exactly where I left off with the weights and, as a consequence of not easing myself in, straining my lower back again….arghhhh. I have managed to do a couple of sessions with lighter weights though so all is not lost and I’ve gone back to my usual suppliments and diet so I’m hopeful of getting back to where I was within a couple of weeks then building from there so wish me luck!
PS I know its bad but pizza and beer rock

As its the weekend across here I decided to go for a training ride on my bike and ended up out for 2.5 hours. Probably not that great an idea as its around 40 celcius (105 farenheit) and 50%+ humidity. It was a simple loop I was on and just kept going as I felt fine until the last loop when I suddenly hit the wall, the last 15 minutes going home were very hard. I took plenty isotonic fluids to drink but I think I ended up a little dehydrated. This was one of my cardio workouts for the week so hopefully it won’t have done any damage through over training, we’ll see in a couple of days. I’m still in the phase trying to lose some body fat so certainly in terms of calories burnt this was a good run but afraid I may have burnt into some muscle at the same time

It’s been a good week both in the gym and other cardio activities. Posted my first progress pics today and generally happy with the results although still a long way to go especially reducing body fat. Have a good weekend schedule planned to get month 2 off to a flying start.
Keep pushing.

After a couple of days taking it easy I’ve been champing at the bit to get back into my full routine. I’ve had a couple of very good arm workouts but still being careful with heavy lifting that involves back muscles, don’t want to aggrivate my muscles any more than need be. So far so good and happy to be back on track. I’m only a couple of days out from my first progress pic, I’ve decided on one a month posted on the first of each month. I did take a sneak peek after my session in the gym today but with still 2 days to go I reckon I can eek out an extra bulge or so
My fat loss has been going well with a mix of Lipo 6X and HIIT incorporated into about 50% of my workouts but my weight has remained steady. Is this a good sign? does it mean I’m replacing fat with quality muscle? Let’s hope so

I was really pushing myself the last couple of sessions including bar bell curls. I was pleased going up in weight but had to cheat to get the last 2 or 3 reps in. The result……tweaked back muscle! Nothing serious but has certainly limited the last couple of days with no training yesterday and only a light session today totally avoiding anything the would put any stress on my back. I’m sure I’ll be ok in a couple of days but going to the gym always leaves lessons to be learnt and lot’s of frustration when there is still so much to do! Keep pushing and make it big.

I took my first proper total rest day for quite a while yesterday. Normally on my days off I do a bit of swimming or cycling and the odd day of football but really did absolutely nothing. I was looking forward to feel energised today but that was before a call from a friend to go out for a drink or two…….which turned into more thjan a few! The result was a bad hangover today and eating junk food for lunch as I couldn’t be bothered preparing anything. I did get into the gym this evening though, to make up for my bad behaviour I planned a tough session. All started well but after about 45 minutes I simply ran out of gas and felt terrible for half and hour or so post work out. There is a lesson learnt though and I’ll be a bit more careful next time.

For the first month of so of my new regime the changes to my body shape were apparent on an almost daily basis, this has slowed down now so have I peaked
? On the plus side though I’m still hammering away in the gym and my goal is to go higher with at least one rep per set for every excercise and progress there is still good I’m pleased to say so certainly getting stronger. I want to finish my current cycle of Lipo 6X then add NO to my suppliment list for the next stage, anyone with any experience mixing this with Lipo 6x your comments are welcome.

3 weeks in now and really enjoying the high feeling from the gym. Helps that my gf joins me for around half my sessions for some toning, always better to train with a friend and share the gains together
My diet has cleaned up a lot although still some lapses, mostly down to living an expat lifestyle in a place like Dubai with temptation all around. I’ve got around 12 days until my first real progress picture, I’m looking forward to this as I’m sure there will be a visible difference. The temptation is to take a snap just now but it would be too early, better wait for the full impact. I’m a bit worried about July as I have a 10 day holiday travelling in China so will be difficult to do any sort of training, how many steps back can I expect to take?

Been on the road this week in various hotels. working with different weights and machines can be a bit frustrating and difficult to know how progress is coming along. Even free weights use different systems so can only push as hard as possible. Between varying gyms and typical hotel food and drink it’s been an up and down week maintaining stastus quo but at least not going backwards…….hard weekend in store I think to get back on track!

Very frustrated at the moment. I had a short flight from Dubai to Doha yesterday and the airline have lost my suitcase with all my stuff including gym kit. I have been on a very nice roll for the last week when I started taking Lipo 6X and adding one or two HIIT sessions to my work outs. I’m very quickly starting to see the results especially fat loss so I was keen to get in the gym last night but totally scuppered!
Can you let me know if you happen to come across a lost medium sized black suitcase please?
I’m still
