Back to the groove.

Well graduating from Law School in a couple of days.Still jobless but very very happy.I feel the recession is a buffer zone to gradually move from college life to work life.I am looking forward to two months at home.

Well I have learnt somethings in the past 6-8 months.

Listen to you body.

I have quit the expensive gym and now have bought a resistance band and do my own gig for an hour and a Half.I do miss my routine a couple of times.

Be at it, there are days when I have messed up but I come back and drink hot water.

Slow and boring cardio works for me.I love walking.

White Bread is a sin.I avoid touching it.

I love rice but its not too good for me.(portion Control)
I start my day with two eggs and tea.(Hostel Mess Food).Never miss any meal.Must eat every 3 hours.
Visualization and Affirmations must be tried.I have discovered a whole new arena through them.

Lunges are by far the best exercise according to me.I am partial to the deadlift but with no access to gym I cant do them anymore.I am waiting to buy my own barbell.

And lastly a multivitamin, Flax Seed Oil Capsules, Cod Liver and Loads of Water everyday.

If you dont enjoy something dont do it.Rationalize this thought with benefits of exercise.

I am currently doing only 40 minutes.Which is 20 minutes of HIIT and 20 minutes on medium incline.I have lost about 4 kgs in the last 2 months.I think I need to add an at home cardio session.I have become a lazy bum.Go to the gym in the evenings and the morning yoga and gym is all lost.I am trying to get back but the beautiful weather…..There cannot be any good reason for being lazy. Also I will be travelling back home for some Recruitment presentations. That would be a test. Also I am toying with the idea of starting supplements but what??

Today was a very bad day.I was emotionally unstable the whole day.So messed up lunch by having fried samosas, with cheese spread and white bread.Had a cold coffee and little rice and dal for dinner.I hope this day will pass and good days will come by again. I did not work out very well either. My legs were sore so I just warmed up for 5 mins on the elliptical trainer and did some weights.Went for yoga at five in the morning.I am beginning to enjoy it.At five you feel horrible but after its done, you feel as if you slept very well. I am going to stick to yoga routine for life.

I am feeling very low today as if nothing will change. But I know its a phase and I hope I am back to my perky self soon.I have to learn to be distant from things that disturb me.

And then went out to eat at a local restaurant.Lots of chicken and chicken. And then cold coffee.I should be feeling bad but I am not.Slow and steady and enjoy it although not everyday.I have eaten out exacty five times this month.Twice at a Pizza place, once at a grand buffet, once at a rice and dal south indian joint and today at the Punjabi place.

So not bad I think.Have to go for yoga tomorrow at five thirty.I am beginning to look forward to it.

I am going to chronicle my weight loss this time.So that I can always look back and gain strength to stay fit .Well today I have a holiday because of the Ahmedabad blasts.I have not gone for my yoga class today as it was raining.

Here I will put down the basic framework of how I am going to manage this space.

Every 4 weeks I am going to change my work out routine.

Once a month I am going to put up a picture of myself in a pair of jeans and my favorite black top.
I am going to write about what I have eaten once a week and how i have stuck to my routine.

And the Grand Finalle would when I can wear that Sari I have purchased with a sexy backless blouse.I know its stupid but I have an image in my mind and I am chasing that.
