Ramadan - The Month of Fasting
Hello all,
Just to let u all know that as per our religion - Islam, we all the Muslims, from today, will be fasting for a month from dawn to dusk. No foods, no water and nothing else in between. So I wont be weightlifting this month. I know I may lose muscles but at the same time I hope I will be losing fats also. However, hoping for a great fasting month. Thanks

Interesting! Are you saying you don’t eat or drink anything for a whole month or is it just when the sun is down? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Two of my clients had thier last sessions on thursday and are taking the month off for Ramadan. One was going to try and train at 4am, right after eating, but thought that might be too much. I’d easily say a month of spiritual renewal is worth losing a few pounds of muscle. Happy fasting!

@John : Yes we dont eat anything during the day time. However we break the fasting when the sun is down. Again start fasting just before the sun comes out.
@jumper: thanks for ur comments.
@eng_bodybuilder: thx bro for those nice tips.

i started working out since middle of june this year
i started doing p90x (u should chk some video store in bd for it, they might hv it there)
the first three months, i was being a real amateur abt it and didnt eat that much, as a result not much muscle growth, but now i know that i needa eat to gain muscle
for u some advice from my experience,
try to avoid fat as much as possible
get good carbs and lotsa protein each meal
dont do same workout twice a week, ur body gets accustomed to it thus no muscle growth
get good amount of sleep
during all workouts, wear yourself out. workout like this is your only chance to getting muscles
if ur muscles get weared out after u workout, then that means u did a good job
but at the same time u needa eat lotsa protein to ensure the growth of ur muscles
i will upload some of my pics later this week so u can chk my progress
