Can anyone tell me whether should we do abs exercises on every workout days?? If yes, then why we do other body parts only once a week????

not sure the technical terms but, these muscles are used every day, they have to be pushed and worked out harder and more frequent because of that, slow twitch muscles.

Hey if this helps I went to a trainer for about a month and he had me do nothing but squats. He used to say that squats work 90% of your abs and it really helped me get rid of some of my flab on my lower stomach.
Also I wouldn’t work abs every day, well at least for me two days a week seems to work better.
Smaller muscles like shoulders and biceps heal faster so they can be trained more frequently and need less rest to grow then say your abs or legs or chest.
Hope this helps!

Most of us indirectly work our abs through the exercises we use for other parts of our workouts as alluded to by Reaper. I used to do a full ab workout twice a week. Now I do a superset (one large set of one exercise targeting specific ab areas) on Tuesdays when I work my chest and on Thursdays, I do stability exercises (e.g. planks) in a full ab workout. So my abs only get a full workout once a week. They haven’t suffered for that.
NOW to SEE the results of your work, you have to pay attention to the diet. Great abs are not seen if there is a layer of fat over them. Take care, Tanzeer and keep working hard.

Some muscles in the body are deemed high tolerance muscles, these include traps, abs calves (gastrocnemus and soleous) and possibly others. All this means is that they are indirectly used on a daily basis. So when training them they require more stimulation than other muscles that are at rest most of the time. These muscles can be trained almost every second day, but this changes from person to person. As for all the the other muscles, they can be trained more than once a week, and some studies suggest that after 3 days, the muscles growth begins to deteriorate ( once again this is only one study). But many training routines do work each muscle twice a week for maximum stimulation. Using a glutamine supplement after your workouts will help the muscle recover in time for the next workout. Hop I could be of some help. -Ricky
