Just cardio and abs

Today my boys went right back to school from there break.  It was nice and I was pumped up and ready to get my workout on.  I got on the treadmill and did my 30 mins alternated elavation and speed.  Next it was the eliptical and that lasted 27 mins, my back was starting to hurt again so I went over to stretch it out.  Now that I’m sitting home I just got done eat my cottage cheese and will be looking for something else to munch on.

Eating Curds and Whey

Yum!!!  Thats the first thing I grabbing walking in the door from working out.  Great stuff!  I had to take a few days off from the gym, I suffered and still suffering a head cold.  4 days I was gone, my body weak and my nose sore, all I did was just rest with very little sleep.  Turns out I keep hubby up all night from the snoring (sweet).  Today it was all about legs, I worked them so hard when I was walking up the stairs they were shaking, it was awesome.  Walking down the steps after doing abs was a challenge, I had to grab onto the rail and take baby steps down.  Thats how I roll, I give 200% to my workout and nap all day :)

Bi’s and Tri’s

Waking up this morning I was ready to work out.  I left my home around 930 am, and hustle on over there.  I’m still getting use to the new gym and all of there equiment that I have never seen.  But the work out is good, but I have notice one thing.  I normally use a 20lb dumbell for curls, and my arms just could not do and had to drop to 15.  Same thing with the tri’s I had to drop down to a 10lb dumbell.  I think its lack of working out for a month and my body needs that shock factor again.  And thats what I did and will be doing this month.  Cardio is getting easier and I’m still not liking it, I have to work my way up to the endruance I had before.  Tomorrow is shoulders!

I don’t have the motovation anymore, I just make myself go.  I have done this for 2 years and now I just don’t have it in me.  Just the mere fact that I’m paying for is the only reason why I’m still going.

Change up

Monday, December 8th, 2008

After taking a month off from the move I will be changing things up.  I have always added weights during my lifting session, now I won’t and let it be consistant.  I’ll give this a try for a month since I do change my work outs every 4-6 weeks.  I am still getting use to my new gym, I think the regs there are still trying to feel me out.  I always have this pissed off look on my face when I do work out.  But I’m not pissed off just concentrating, I don’t like to talk I just want to get in and do my time and leave.  I’m still on the big boy side of the gym, lots of "meat heads" and they are so yummy well some of them are.  I have been very stress to the point of having chest pains.  Lots of personal battles, and being called not so very nice things.  I know they say crying is a good stress relief, but dang I can only cry so much before its just dry tears. 

I started smoking again, after being dry since May.  Things are not good here in my personal life.  I threw away the lighters and will stop once more.  I just wish things would be easier for me, I’m tired on trying to please.

Sorry for the vent  I will post new pics of me in a few days, or atleast die trying :)

Where have I been?

Its been a long time since my last post.  I have moved, changed my diet again, and another gym membership.  Now I live in Savannah Ga and I love it here, I became a vegitarian about 6 weeks ago.  The one time I ate meet I was bellied over in pain, never agian.  The gym is ok, I feel out of place being I’m the only black girl there in the morning.  I was just doing my thing and its full of big guys working out.  This is my 3rd time in this place and still trying to get the feel of it.  I think it was cause I’m new and wondering why I am not upstairs on the pansy machines.  :rolls eyes:

What I did today oh and a question

After over sleeping I realize the gym was closing at 2pm, and it was already noon.  I rushed over there in my new gym outfit, I love the fact that I can go down a size and still look good.  Today was just bi’s, tri’s, and shoulders.  That went very well, with abs on the side and to finish off with 40 mins of cardio.  Why do I get so hungry when I am done working out?  I swear I could so pig out and ruin everything.  Right now I just chew gum till I get home and have my protein shake and drink lots of water.  But I am still hungry and I am afraid to eat and not lose but not gain weight either.   What should I do, eat before I workout or what?

Where do I start?  Let’s see school was out for the summer, and so the boys where home.  I signed them up for a swim team, giving me 2 hours to work out in the mornings.  All went well till it was time for my vacation, I threw my back out so bad I could not walk.  I saw my Dr the day before we left and I asked for a shot of cortisone and instead just a bunch of pills.  I got to my vacation spot with little pain at first then it got worse.  What a girl to do but drink all week to numb.  Yea, I was a lush, started at 10am and did not stop till bed time.  I got home saw my Dr again and she put me in rehab and that where I have been since July.  Now that is over with I will be starting up my routine again on Tues when the boys start school.  Whew, what a mouth full….

My gym partner is 11 yr

Yea you read that right, he is 11.  And happens to be my son, he wanted to compete when he turns 13, and right now he is ripped!  I pulled him out of school early do to issues with his classroom.  I told him he is on my workout schedule instead of his dad and we do things differently.  This week so far was great, I challenge him and he did the same for me, just pushing each other.  I was amazed at his strength and a few times I had to stop him thinking he is going to hurt himself.  I wish he would spend more time in his legs than his arms and chest.  I keep telling him he is top heavy, and he agree to work on his legs with me.  If it was not the fact we may have pervs on this site I would post pics of him.

Chantix and my training

Friday, May 16th, 2008

I quit smoking back in Feb and I did well for 3 weeks.  Then the stress and anxiety crept in and I picked it up again.  Being frustrated with this addiction I saw my Dr, and she prescribe chantix for me.  Now this stuff is expensive and is not cover under my insurance.  I got it yesterday, and had my first dose, it says to continue smoking the first week on it then stop.  I hope this works, I will be on this for 3 months and I hope to stop all together by next week. 

I am concern about weight gain, but with my training in check I will have to make sure I watch what I eat. 

Training is going really well, people are noticing my shoulders and arms and telling me how nice they look.  That makes me feel so good that others notice and not my husband.  I am still cutting and will continue so until the end of the summer or beginning of fall.  I have a lot of weight to lose and I am just taking my time.  As they all say you did not put it on over night, you will not lose it over night.

Monday blues

Monday, May 12th, 2008

I did not work out Thursday or Friday due this bad cold and the fact my body was aching from trainer day.  I slept all weekend long and all and this morning.  Waking up before noon was nice, no kids to yell out and I was feeling really tired still.  I mustard the strength to get dress and go.  I got there and worked on my legs, and from there I felt rejuvenated.  I felt like a different person, not the tired and rather sleep person. 

Lately I have notice my collar bone is showing, it makes me look hungry.  I have not seen it in years and I hate the look of it.  I like the look that my neck and face is slimmer and longer, but dang why the collar bone.  Ugh!
