Am I off or am I crazy?

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Today is a cardio day for me, usually I do an a.m. and a p.m., but I felt "off".  Instead of going to the gym this morning I just did errands that need to be done.  It was around 6:30 pm and I was running behind for my p.m. run session.  I quickly ate my dinner and left for my run.  That was my first mistake, I soon realize that running on a full or half full stomach does not work well for me.  I felt very heavy and I could not run that fast, my run time was longer than expected.  After the first half mile I called it quits and just walked the rest of the way.  While I was walking I just kept thinking something just does not feel right.  I kept looking around and nothing, just people working out.

I think this is all in my head, I’m having issues with my legs, when I was 10lbs heavier they seemed slimmer now they look big.  This could be just muscle coming in from me running 3-5 days a week.  And now my clothes are to big….’yes I’m complaning about my clothes’…  Maybe I’m just depress with all the changes to my body.  Dunno…..

No title

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

To be honest I could not think of a title, my head feels like mush I’m so tired.  Today was just cardio with 50 this morning and then my 3 mile walk/run.  I’m feeling really good and was able to last longer.  My time on the run is shrinking, by all means I’m not complaining but I feel "high" after my runs.  Tomorrow I might miss the gym and have to deal with my kid who seams to piss me off on a regular basis.  Wednesday is leg day and maybe I could use a break from it.  Maybe when I’m done with my errands I may go………who knows………..

cheers

Run like the wind they say!

Friday, July 17th, 2009

Working out as be going good.  I have settle into my routine, needless to say I feel sore the next day.  I am still recovering from leg day on Wednesday but that does not stop me.  I have just started running and each time I’m less tired than the last.  I will be joining a running club here to get the training and the do’s and don’ts of running.  So far so good my stamina is increasing and I’m less tired.  Right now I’m running 4-5 days a week at 3 miles, ok more like walk and then run. hahah

Cheers!

Motivated! But where is my partner?

Monday, June 29th, 2009

This bothers me.  I have been working out for 2.5 years with out a partner, when I do get one they slack off or don’t show up.  No phone call, not returning my calls.  I have relied on myself to go to the gym and get a good workout .  I thought I have found someone with the same mine set as I do, I was wrong.  After my morning workout I like to eat my protein and chill.  In the evenings I like to walk the 2 mile trail, sometimes with friends, mostly myself.  From here on out I have only myself to help out, no more gym partners and no more calling people saying " hey you gonna work out today?"  I’M DONE!!

Tomorrow I will weigh myself and perhaps a new reciepe and then on the first a pic of my progress…..cheers!

The Talker

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

So you know I’m at a new gym.  I go just to work out and go home, as of late, there has been this guy talking to me between my sets.  He asked me some questions about my work out and tells me about his.  You see I don’t like to talk I have a certain time between sets before I start and he just keeps on going and going and going.  I just want to tell him to shut the hell up and let me work, but I’m not that rude…..yet.  I have started to take cycle boot camp on my cardio days.  I love it so far with yoga as a chaser.   I have alot on my plate right now, but I still go on working out, its in my blood.

I’m a hampster on a wheel going nowhere

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

This is so frusterating!  I have been doing this for almost 2.5 years! Changed my diet, (check, check and double check).  Changed my routine every 6 weeks, (check).  All I got is increase indurance and some muscle.  This is my typical day, up at 6am, eat a bannana, eat an apple 10 mins after that with some green tea.  I leave for the gym at 730am some days is muscle training and thats 1.5 hours on a good day.  Other days is all about cardio and thats an hour.  I come home eat my whey, somtimes I put some vanilla extract in it with some cinnimon, some more fruit and veggies.  4 hours later a snack and then dinner.  I eat clean I eat all day, I eat all the right kinds of food.  I am a freaking vegitarian!!!  What gives?!?!  I am trying to better my physical appearance and I’m on a road to nowhere….  I am not going to give up, I have been doing this for so long that its not in my vocab.  I will not settle for less EVER.  I know this will take years to reach my goal but come on…..grrrrr
