My sore legs
Friday, December 11th, 2009I think I over did it in the gym yesterday! My hamstrings, glutes and quadraceps are so sore. I feel like someone punched me in the legs over and over a million times! Why do lunges and squats hurt so badly? It’s crazy! I think what I did wrong was not stretching before I started and after I stopped. I am learning that stretching is very important! Ohhhh my!
I also did 30 minutes of AB work, some weight training with, 3 sets of 12 reps @ 15 lbs shoulder press, bicep curls, 21’s with a bar bell and some other arm positions. ( I really have to start writing this stuff down). From there I did 1 hour on the treadmil going 2.7 to 3.0. Not much because my legs hurt too bad. I guess you would say that was a very light workout.
I woke up not feeling too sore in the upper body. Medium soreness in my Abs and my legs on fire! Tonight I was thinking about using as my rest day. What do you do when your legs are too sore to even walk correctly, let alone sit on the toilet. Uggggg!
