Went to check out a gym yesterday.  It is nice but I am not sure if I am going to join. It is really expensive but really nice. Until then I will be doing my P90X program and My Cathe videos. I know some of you hard core peeps are probably shaking your heads right now but they have some great routines for those who are just  starting to workout. I have learned alot about reps and sets and what kind of workouts to do for which part of the body. Since I have been doing the home workouts I learned that I actually like strength training. Now it is time for me to step up my A game BABY!!

When I get off work I am going to work on my Core with abdominal work and core exersises. Not my favorite but the most needed area that needs to be worked on if you know what I mean. Thursday I have an appointment with 24 hour fitness. I can’t wait to get back into the gym. I got burned out on going around May and started doing my workouts at home. I have been adding to my collection to weights bi weekly. My dream is to have a gym at home with all of the equipment that I would need to make a hard body without even leaving the house. Plus in the long run it will save me money to spend the money on weights and equipment instead of monthly dues. My next thing I am going to get is a power tower. I have been pricing them at the fitness stores and on Ebay. Then I will purchase a treadmil. But one thing at a time. Right now I have a one bedroom loft, and it is already crowded. :0

I am working at getting more water in. Even with the crystal light it is hard to drink a gallon of water.  It starts out good then by the middle of the day I start slowing down. I have a good shrimp salad with spinach leaves and veggies. Still havent eatten it yet. My goal is to eat every 2 hours, that is going to be a challenge too. I wait too long to eat.

I am work in progress.

A little info. about me. :)

Monday, July 30th, 2007

This morning I lay in bed at 4:30 am thinking I should get up and put on one of videos before I go to work. I thought of the people who get up at that time to start their day.  I ended getting up but I didn’t work ut. I did however cook my egg whites and make my lunch for work. That is a start. I beat myself up unitl I got out of that bed.

I have an appointment to talk to someone at Lifetime fitness. I started out on this journey at a small gym not far from work. Then I started doing the P90x home workout system. I have been doing that for a few months. I relly love the program but after a while of doing the same thing I get bored. so  I workout consistently for about a while then I get burned out. That is why I think I am ready to go back to the gym. I packed my workout clothes to go when I get off work today. It is going to be a push becouse lifetime fitness is very expensive. But on the up side they have everything you could possible want in a gym. Rock climbing, swimming, free weights, sauna, EVERYTHING!!! We are going to see what happens and if I can budget it into my finances. I am worth it! I like working out and being healthy but I just need to work on being consistant with my workouts.

Eating clean is really not a problem. I have been reconstructing my eating habits for a few months as well. I am now finding that I like to eat clean. Ive been doing my protein shakes in the mornings or some egg whites. My stomach doesn’t agree with eating solids too early in the morning so I usually drink my smoothies in the early morning ( about 7:00 am) then my egg whites at around 9:00 am. I try to eat every  2-3 hours. Sometimes it is easy to eat while at work  where I can pay attention to the time. At work it is alittle harder but I get at least 4 meals in all day. I am working on my water intake but it is not easy to drink alot of water too. I have to remind myself to get it in. I don’t drink any sodas at all. I stopped that a long time ago.

My goal is to get a leaner, harder body. If I can accomplish that I will be one happy lady. I have no kids only a cat named Boots. She is my only baby right now. I have had her since she fit in the palm of my hand and drank from a bottle. So she is very spoiled.

well that’s it about me.

Please check in with me to see how I am doing from time to time. I am "stalking " a few people on this forum to see what they do to get their results so you may see me around.

Have a great one.

Welcome!

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

This is my first post to this blog! I can’t wait to get started blogging.

A little about me: I am 34 and new to weightlifting. I have been weightlifting since November and I love it.  My goal is to be Ripped! I want to tighten up my abdominal muscles. I want to develop my biceps, triceps, Quads and Hammies.  As well as transform my body from flabby to tight and ripped.

If anyone has any tips for me I would appreciate it.

Thanks
