Tuesday, July 31st, 2007Went to check out a gym yesterday. It is nice but I am not sure if I am going to join. It is really expensive but really nice. Until then I will be doing my P90X program and My Cathe videos. I know some of you hard core peeps are probably shaking your heads right now but they have some great routines for those who are just starting to workout. I have learned alot about reps and sets and what kind of workouts to do for which part of the body. Since I have been doing the home workouts I learned that I actually like strength training. Now it is time for me to step up my A game BABY!!
When I get off work I am going to work on my Core with abdominal work and core exersises. Not my favorite but the most needed area that needs to be worked on if you know what I mean. Thursday I have an appointment with 24 hour fitness. I can’t wait to get back into the gym. I got burned out on going around May and started doing my workouts at home. I have been adding to my collection to weights bi weekly. My dream is to have a gym at home with all of the equipment that I would need to make a hard body without even leaving the house. Plus in the long run it will save me money to spend the money on weights and equipment instead of monthly dues. My next thing I am going to get is a power tower. I have been pricing them at the fitness stores and on Ebay. Then I will purchase a treadmil. But one thing at a time. Right now I have a one bedroom loft, and it is already crowded. :0
I am working at getting more water in. Even with the crystal light it is hard to drink a gallon of water. It starts out good then by the middle of the day I start slowing down. I have a good shrimp salad with spinach leaves and veggies. Still havent eatten it yet. My goal is to eat every 2 hours, that is going to be a challenge too. I wait too long to eat.
