Trying this P90X program AGAIN!!!

I’ve been doing my P90X again! WHOOO HOOO (feble voice)!! Let me tell you the story of my P90X journey. I’ve been trying and trying to get through the whole 90 days and have failed miserably each time! Well enough is enoughh!!! I am going to get through the whole 90 days or ELSE! These DVD’s have been in my possession since 07′ some time. When I first started it worked very well. I started to really look good in my clothes. I was so proud of myself! Then life got in the way and I slacked off on my workouts until I wasn’t doing them at all! I know the program works and I REALLY believe in it wholeheartedly. I guess what my problem is IS time. Enough of my excuses. The workouts are no longer than 1 hour long. I CAN do this. If I put it in my mind I WILL do this!
So far this is DAY 3/ WEEK1.
Tonight I have Shoulders and Arms. I am going to follow it up with 6 minute abs to boot! I really want to see this body change. I am willing to do anything to see it happen!
So that is my update!

When I last left off I went to the gym and did Legs I think that was on…Tuesday. On Wednesday, I tried to go to the gym again but was informed that my gym bill was due so I went home to do my workout instead.
I mixed it up with a Cathe Friedrich workout. That woman is like the female version of Tony Horton. She is definatly the WO-MAN! She never lets up on her workouts. I did upper body pyramids. Ohhhhhh… I feeling it! That was two days ago. I used all of my weights from heaviest to lightest. I like doing the routine. Once I can say exactly how many reps and sets I did cause you do something like 8 reps with your heaviest, 10 with medium heaviest and 12 with your lighest with basicly no rest in between. It is a mother of a workout. I LOVE IT! My bicep bellies are crying from all of the bicep curls and hammer curls I did. I did a couple of curls with my 15’s Eek! I think that is the heaviest I have curled.
That Cathe is relentless when it comes to workouts!
Yesterday was an active rest day. I did a Hip Hop dance routine. It was so much fun. You do little dance steps and at the end you put them together to make one whole dance routine. Talk about fun. It doesn’t really feel like a workout until you are sweating you total ARCE off! Eek That is my kind of workout.
FUN FUN FUN!
Tonight will be abs. Nothing crazy. I just want to feel my abdominal muscles tomorrow. If I can get my stomach muscles to hurt then I know I am on the right track. Yeahhhhhhh!

Today’s workout…..

Today’s workout consisted of Pyramid sets. I did alot of hammer curls and bicep curls with some triceps thrown in. I went from 15 pounds at my highest down to 5 pounds being my lowest. I should be feeling my bicep belly tomorrow.

My thighs are feeling sore from the adductors, hamstring curls, and BUTT BLASTERS I did yesterday.  I went to the gym but was turned away cause I have to pay my gym bill. Sucks! I was ready to bring it in the gym for some cardio! Oh well, I guess I should press play with maybe some TURBO JAM or something HOT that will get my heart rate up!

 

Gotta get it TIGHT and SEXY!

CINCO de MAYO

Meal #1 Breakfast-
½ cup dry oatmeal
1 small box raisins
1 dollop of smart balance brown sugar
3 egg whites scrambled
1 teaspoon shredded cheese

3 lipo 6 X
GYM WORKOUT

Meal #2 lunch
Tuna salad
½ diced apple
1 stalk celery diced
1 t. mayo
Bowl salad greens

GLUTES & LEGS WORKOUT CATHE
MEAL # 3
1 SCOOP SYNTHA 6 PROTEIN POWDER
1 CUP WATER

MEAL # 4
TACO SALAD

Not bad huh? I mostly worked my legs today. Tomorrow I will be doing my upper body.
Hopefully I will be feeling sore in the legs tomorrow

Stupid $40.00 mistake!!!

Yesterday, was a crazy day for me.
I must tell ya’ll about it……

I went to the court house to get my sticker for my car. Waited in line for an hour or so and finally got it. I don’t know what I was thinking but I proceed to peel off my INSPECTION sticker….. Oh my gosh By the time I realized what I had dont I had ripped it to shreads!!!!! At the time I am thinking " oh well I will just go back to the place I got the inspection at and they will just give me another one. NOOOOOO! I had to spend another 40 bucks for another inspection!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! ARRRRRGH!
Anyway…. totally stupid day in my life!!!

52 minutes of cardio

Oh my did I really do it to myself yesterday! My goal was to stay on the treadmil for 60 minutes. I only lasted for 52 minutes before I started coughing like crazy! I didn’t want to leave but I got all embarrased that I was having a coughing fit! I always think people are looking at me all crazy like I have TB or something. Instead I just chalked it up to a job well done.  I really concentrated on squeezing my glute muscle as I walked the incline. I ran the incline all the way up to 12%. I kept the mph between 3.0 and 3.5. A couple of times I went to 4.0 but I kept getting cramps in my shins. I guess they are called "shin Splints". What evah … they hurt like hell!  now I am really feeling the pain deep in my buttocks. Right in the center of my cheeks! I want to keep doing that routine a few times a week. Hopefully it will get my but to POP like I want it!  I want a nice firm round butt. I don’t have one naturally so I have to CREATE one! HA, easier said than none!

Last night I cooked a stir fry. It was so yummy! I used a lot of fibrous veggies like red bell pepper, broccoli, mushrooms, sugar snap peas, green peppers. I made the sauce out of soy sauce and corn starch. On top I put the poached chicken and cooked it all together. I put all that on top of some basmati brown rice! Totally YUMMO!

Tonight I want to do some more cardio but I need to do some resistance work. The only problem is I am all SORE as HECK! All I want to do is cardio. I can’t bare to think about lifting something. Maybe I’ll go home and do my chest and back P90X video. All I know is I have to do something physical tonight after work! 

It is a must!

My Birthday Febuary 27th

March 1, 2009

I went to the gym for my birthday and bought a new set of dumbbells for myself.  I worked my upper body. I started my workout with cardio. About …. 30 minutes doing hills then went to the floor and did  Lat pulldowns, seated row, chest press, shoulder presses, lateral raises and bicep curls, 4 sets of 20 to 25 reps. All in all I think I was in there for about an hour. Not bad, considering it was my birthday and all.  I am feeling it in my lats, biceps and shoulders.  This time I managed to stay on my feet without stumbling!!!! HA

Tomorrow (monday) my plan is to hit the gym and do my legs and work on my booty.  Leg presses, leg extentions,  abductors and adductors and lets NOT forget the BUTT BLASTER! I am doing to be walking like Frankenstein when I get through with myself.  Work in progress and spring time will be here before you know it. I got to get my butt in gear. I am thinking about doing the P90X again. I really saw some results when I was doing those workouts. My goal is to incorportate both the gym and my home workouts again like I used to do before I got all LAZY!!!

SOOOO EMBARRASING!

Hi GUYS!

I PUSHED PLAY AT THE GYM TODAY.
FUNNY STORY..
SO I DID MY CARDIO FIRST AS SOON AS I got to there. Stayed on for about 30 minutes.My plan was to spend another 30 minutes doing legs. Instead I did about 20 before I almost fell flat on my face in front of EVERYBODY in the gym. By the grace of god I got my balance at the last minute. The wires from my headphones got tangled in with the handle on the adductor machine getting caught up around my leg causing me to trip. In order to stop my fast approach to the ground… the headphone wires snatched away from the speakers what was in my ears causing it to SNATCH out of my ears with a LOUD snap. There went the headphones!!!! I couldn’t hear out of them anymore. Dang it! Now I have to buy more. OH well. At least I didn’t fall. The worse part of it was the lady behind me said rather LOUDLY…"ARE YOU OK"!!!! All I could say was "YEAH, I’M FINE" with an embarrased smile. Since my headphones were broken and I was embarrased as HECK I decided to call it a day and head on home. I ended up being at the gym for 51 minutes. Not bad but my goal was to stay 60 minutes.
On that note….I WORKED OUT AND ATE CLEAN TODAY.
GOTTA RUN.
I AM COOKING MY VALENTINES DINNER. IT IS A HEALTHY SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN MADE WITH SPLENDA AND NATURAL JUICES PINEAPPLE CHUNKS. I AM HAVING SAUTEED VEGGIES WITH IT. i CAN’T WAIT TO EAT. I’M STARVING!!!
