Recovering from Ankle Injury
I’ve been out of the gym for about a month now and I finally got back in yesterday and today. I did some hardcore upper body training yesterday and lower body training today.
I figured that I might as well start back with doing full body routines to get my body conditioned into working out again. Then I will get back on a push/pull/legs split. I’m looking forward to getting back into my normal routine again.
You never know how bad working out affects your life until you stay out of the gym for a while. Maybe it’s a mental addiction and without it I feel bad. Maybe it’s a way for me to relieve stress so that I am always happy. Maybe it keeps me feeling great about myself. But one thing is for sure, after being out for so long I had been falling into a pit of depression and it’s been really effecting me. After getting back in the gym though I feel so much better. It’s probably the soreness that reminds me of an accomplishment the following days.
Who knows…just glad to be back!
