So I’ve been hitting it very hard the last week and making some noticeable progress. My jiu jitzu game is getting better and I feel like my legs are getting back underneath me.
I’m trying to lean out a bit but I’m finding that I’m still increasing in size while trimming fat. I think once I’m satisfied with my abs I may go off creatine for a few weeks and really work on leaning out.

Last night I didn’t get to the gym till 8:30pm which means I didn’t finish until 10:30ish and didn’t get home till 11:30pm. It takes me an hour to get home from the gym, which helps me unwind and cool down.
I got home, made my protein shake, showered and hopped in to bed around midnight. That means yesterday was a 20 hour day for me. I was supposed to be at work at 7am this morning…. but didn’t wake up till 8:30am. I was way efffffin late. Now I’m stuck at work till 7 pm tonight.
Tonights workout = Yoga X from the p90x series…… efffffin hate it, but I love it

I met with a nutritionist a while ago and developed a 90 day diet to reach my goals at the 30 day mark, the 60 day mark and the 90 day mark when preparing for a fight. So last night I went grocery shopping for said foods and DAMN it was expensive. I forgot how spendy it gets.
Cut meat and fresh veggies cost lots more than boxed and packaged crap. When we got home my wife weighed and
I’m pretty excited to fight again and I feel like the stress fractures in my legs are healing nicely. I should be ready to go in 2 months. It isn’t going to be too hard to keep to this diet because I’m taking in around 2400 calories a day.
My goal is to be at 174lbs in 30 days with no loss of muscle mass. Starting weight 185lbs.

another great week. Took my family to Yellowstone National Park on Saturday and saw every animal, hot pot, waterfall, stream, geological spot there was to see. I’m serious we stopped and saw everything possible.
I was able to workout both Friday and Saturday. I finally finished my VPX NOShotgun. It was a great supplement that I may go back to after I complete my BSN NO Xplode and Cellmass stack.
I kept the diet clean all weekend and I’m rolling through to this week. One day at time right?

for me is my No Xplode/Cell mass stack. I started it two weeks ago and so far have seen some great things from it… No real ’size’ increase, but great pumps and some serious deisel. It has taken my muscle endurance and strength to new levels.
Also, I’m starting a new no gi jiujitzu workshop soon and can’t wait. I’ve never been one to worry about belt advancements and things like that, but I’m excited to get some reward for my efforts.
I’ve cut weight again just by cleaning up my diet… back to 183lbs.

I have had a hard time getting some consistancy @ the gym this summer. I just got back from a nice long fishing trip to Flaming Gorge. It was a blast, we caught a lot of fish, got a nice tan and hate some great food. But 5 days off of the gym right after a holiday is bad. Not only did I spend that much time away from a gym but I ate like I was at a buffet.
I’m back home now, depressed cause I gained a few extra pounds last week and I’m ready to get going again only to leave for Las Vegas next week for another 4 days. This time I will have access to a pool or a tread mill and maybe even some weights.
I know that I’m lucky to get to go on summer vacations with my family and that I sound like a whiner, but I need some consistancy at the gym if I’m going to get rid of these damn love handles. I don’t have the greatest genetics so I really have to bust my ass to get rid of them.
I’m so distraught over my lack of self control of my diet while on vacation. I feel embarrassed that I ate that much food, but it has motivated me to get going already.

So….. After a good month of using VPX NoSynthesize I decided to go back to a No Explode and Cellmass stack. The reason I stopped taking No Xplode was because I was so addicted to it. And after last night I remember why I was addicted to it, former drug addicts will understand. It takes me 35-45 minutes to drive to the gym so I always drink it enroute. This way it is hitting me shortly after I start working.
Once I had the No Explode coursing through my veins I was a caged animal. I damn near sprinted my ‘warm up’ 2 miles and then attacked my biceps, shoulders and back for an hour and a half.
Once I was ‘finished’ with my planned workout I still felt I had energy to go on so I strapped on the gloves and went three five minute rounds on the bag working on a new dirty boxing combo Eddie P showed me last week. Nothing saps energy from your body like boxing… except jiu jitsu.
Anyway, I feel like a recovering heroin addict who fell off the bandwagon. I’m embarrassed to be back on it, but I rationalize using it because after all it really is just caffeine that is making me feel this way.
I don’t really know what to expect from the Cellmass supplement, but I was searching for a good post workout recovery/supp and this is the stack that seemed to be most highly rated. I feel great today other than my chest hurts from some wide flys that I’m pretty sure were done incorrectly yesterday.
