Conspiring to Succeed
*thinking out loud - bear with me*
So bodybuilders. They really prepare food in the advance and walk around with coolers? If I must, I will. I’ll stop being a brat.. my school campus is insanely large. In fact, I can park my car on campus and still have to take a bus to class. Couple that with a couple of science textbooks and a laptop and you tell me how appealing toting around extras like a cooler is
hmm
I’m going to have to find a way. My nutrition is single handedly the detriment to my progress..I know this, those who have been reading this blog knows it.. its a shame really.
Today I redid my workout schedule and its in the calendar .. what the calendar says goes
I also picked up this month’s Muscle and Fitness but thats because that magazine never fails to charge me up, despite the fact that I’m not a male bodybuilder with biceps the size of your head.
Anyway, its a new week and I don’t really know what a realistic goal would be. I don’t want to do the lb thing very much. My weight fluctuates between 8-10 lbs. Thats alot. And it makes me feel like "whatever" if I see it go down. What would be a consistent, solid measure of success?
Guess its time to poke around the forums and BB.com

Great post Ms. Yeah nutrition is key. I prepare all my meals for the week on Saturday. I carry my meals and water everywhere I go even church. Eating every 3 hours is rough, but I do it. You will get there. It is not an easy task, but a rewarding one. What a sweet possibility!

Same issue here too. We know what works, but it’s difficult. We’re going to continue the efforts, though! Stay strong, tomorrow’s another day!

you’ll love this, i have a laptop and a little file box I take to work.
So I got me one of those suit case carriers with wheels and some bungy chords. I strapped the file box down and then the laptop on top. last is a bungy from the bottom in front over the top and connected in the back. all tight.
my cooler has an ice pack (you’ll need to keep 3 or 4 of those in the fridge) and I have the most awesome supply of plastic containers ever. I found 1 cup containers with twist on lids - great for eating exactly 1 cup of something.
I make my meals on Sunday.
Yes, the rest of the world will think you are crazy, but you’ll get to laugh when they all keel over from heart attacks at 55 and you still have 35 years to go.

I do a lot of prep on Sunday for the week, and in the evening for the next day. Do as much portioning as you can ahead of time. As for a cooler, I just have an insulated lunch bag that is filled with small Tupperwares full of meal portions, snacks, small yogurts, fruit, etc.
Just remember that "failing to plan is planning to fail".
