We must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey.

Kenji Miyazawa

I NEED this quote today. I have been feeling "out of it" and just tired I would say almost depressed….maybe its cuz im sick (and I NEVER get sick) or maybe its because I was drunk 3 days last week and Im paying the piper now. Either way I am going to use the way I feel right now to keep on track for my goal.

Fall seven times, stand up eight!

Japanese Proverbs

I am DEFINITLEY in need of a quote today! I went camping this weekend and boy oh boy. I did nothing but shove alcohol and food in my mouth for a full 24 hours! I was impressed with how much I could actually eat and not get stuffed. Who knew!? The guilt is settling in and I feel like a bloated flotation device and like I *uked up all my hard work and screwed my results for the next 2 weeks…….but I gotta pick myself up that 8th time and keep truckin!

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

Maria Robinson

Everytime I fail or mess up on my diet….I remind myself that today is a new day……to start over =-)

In each of us are places where we have never gone. Only by pressing the limits do you ever find them.

This my friends is the road to success!!!!!

It does not matter what anybody else thinks or does – it is what you do that matters.

Richard Denny

We all have dealt with it at one time or another……..after you have been training hard and seeing progress…then some ignorant person makes some snide comment like…"you still working out?" as if they are blind to your progress. Or make a comment about an imperfection of yours. At those times its important to remember that their thoughts dont matter only yours do…..keep training hard!

Some men succeed because they are destined to, but most men succeed because they are determined to.

Greame Clegg

This is a wonderful quote!! WHY? because some of us (myself included) get frustrated because some people are genetically blessed and dont have to work at all to achieve the goal or dont have to put in half the work we do. They are destined by nature to succeed in that aspect….but that does NOT mean that we cant achieve that as well. Its funny because if you look around MOST are NOT genetically blessed but we seem to focus on those handful of people that are and compare our efforts with theirs. We can accomplish what they have it just takes more effort which in my opinion is just fine because we value the product ALOT more!

My parents always told me that people will never know how long it takes you to do something. They will only know how well it is done.

Nancy Hanks

Its funny because even though we know this logically, when we see pictures of peoples before and after photos all we see is old and new. We didnt see all the blood, sweat, time, and tears that went into the transformation. From our view it was overnight because that is exactly what we perceive although we know that isnt the case. We get discouraged when the results dont come fast enough and get mad, depressed, or give up. Just know that it took them time too but they just started their journey before you did.
