Rain today…

Well today i was tired..but decided to go to the gym and do my first ride class of the year. How a few weeks of off time makes a difference. Hasnt really been that bad of an off time. Did do a weeks worth of skiing and spent 3 days in the gym the resort had so it wasnt to bad. Did eat some snacks and baking i dont usually do. So today i did my one hour of weights with the PT still sore from my leg workout on tuesday. Yesterday had school all day but managed to go for a bit of a walk outside in all that snow. So i felt better for the fresh air. Kind of stressed the last few weeks. Guess with school only being a month long is probably why. We do perceptorship hours after that. So we are doing a lot of reviewing and reading cardiac strips from the ECG. Any one know of any good sites to go to find any strip readings..For all a quote i got today.

shoveled snow all day ..looks like another day of shoveling.

Yesterdays workout consisted of leg training and abs. Pulled something in my shoulder crosscountry skiing so was not going to aggrivate anything. It was enough with all the shoveling. So today i am going to do some cardio. Not sure what else i will be working on. No plans for the day. Probably abs as well.

I didnt want to weight myself after the holidays but was pleasantly surprised as i hadnt worked out in 3 days. So i ended up not gaining any weight. School also started again yesterday every second day for the month of january.

Which is nice for a break in between. Classes pretty much go all day and is a bit of a review to help us write our exams in june. So cleaning house today. Get the boys back after a week at their fathers so it will be nice to see them again. Hope you guys all have a good day.

hi all and welcome to 2009

Happy New Year to you all. I hope that you get everything accomplished, and then some!  Going to take my weight training to the next level, and get this cardio done so help me!!! 
Just taking time out tonight to send everybody on my list a Happy New Year and hoping 2009 brings you EVERYTHING  and more that you want to accomplish. For me it is a start to a new year and I always enjoy making goals and planning things i want to do. It is a year of new starts for me in my new career and the end of going to school. My kids also will graduate this year. One my oldest from high school and the youngest will move on to grade 8.I also want to take my weight training up a notch and do some triatholon training this year. One of the main goals is to learn how to swim. It will be challenging to say the least but my little sister has challenged me to do the half ironman in Osoyoos in July which i kind of am half heartedly considering.I also want to get my running up there for october to be able to run a full marathon. So with these goals in mind 2009 will keep me busy and out of trouble…Wishing you all a lot of fun with your goals you set out as well.Hoping to have a bit more of a social life as well versus just doing homework…and driving back and forth to school on a regular basis.I will graduate in June..the first weekend.
I sat down today and came up with a bit of a plan for my training. My week off has been relaxing but to much eating and not enough workouts like im used to so feeling a bit sluggish. My weight on wednesday new years eve was only a half a pound higher. So i guess that is not to bad considering.I would like to feel healthy and lose the weight i have put on while in school and reach 142 by july. Right now i only way 148.5 so that is not asking much of myself. I truly just want to be able to physically be strong and feel healthy overall. I have my sights on doing some runs and learning on how to do a triatholon and to do some hill runs towards the end of summer.
