Well let me see the updates..Its my middle sons birthday today..not more cake  LOL

Yes i did have a couple of pieces on saturday when i spent all day studying for my exam yesterday. Which hopefully went well. On Sunday went out to the mans house and went for a long run. Close to over an hour in a half running past the stairway to heaven. My man stops and says you want to run how many..i said five. He was kidding. You dont joke with me. So we proceeded to run up and down these stairs. Yes my calves feel it today. Yesterday after the exam did a spinn class. Today will only have time to do group power as i am taking my middle son out for dinner and to the local haunted house. Annual tradition i do with my kids for halloween. Gets them in the spirit. Tomorrow i am going to take them to a play, called blackbeards wife. It is in the next town and they always run plays. I have never been so decided it was time to check it out. It is kind of halloweeny type of scary play with guts and gore. Just how the kids like it. Invited the man and his kids. My kids have never met his kids.. will see how it plays out.

It is stil so beautiful and sunny here. The fall weather is so nice. Hopefully sunday is beautiful as well as the man and I are doing one of the last runs before Xmas. We are doing the 10k run up hills in kal park. It is a tough challenge, smaller version of the peak to beak.  So i never made it out there to run it again.Guess my run on sunday will have to suffice. Well enjoy the day all you challengers. PS The couple we took to the sun FM party won. She won some CDs and movie DVDS, some downhill ski lessons and passes. As well 200 dollars to a restuarant and as well a pair of tickets to the comedy club in kelowna. She was sweet and gave us 50 dollars for dinner…so we had a good time.

sue marathon.jpg17 years ago gave birth to my first child so i always love my kids birthdays….

Todays plans.. to study till spinn class at noon. Clean house till the man arrives. Than its a 5 k run with him. Shower and take the boys out for dinner. Spoil my child. Than we are off with another couple to go to Sun FM birthday party there i will try and win some madonna tickets so i can take my son with us the following thursday. Would love to win some tickets. That way i can spoil him as well.. See how it goes. Tomorrow the plan is to run the hill run 10k i am running the following sunday…so i dont die when i am running it. Havent been up to par in the running department. First short run today..since…

ok it is wednesday again…

Sunday pretty much slept the day away…lazy bum. Than went to the mans house and we went bowling. My friend is moving 2 provinces away.So it was a change of plans to join them..bike ride can wait till tomorrow…I will miss her she is one friend i have had since childhood. Her daughter and her husband and my friends husband all went bowling.. Me i cant bowl not my sport..kind of frustrating to get a lot of gutter balls…but it was fun anyways…  2 points

So on monday went for a one hour bike ride after my nuitrition class..midterm exam on monday so got to get studying this weekend. It is worth quite a few marks so that is what i will be doing is reading all the chapters i was suppose to have done so far..boy if only i could convince tlc  to write it for me. I would be one happy girl. Got my paper mark back on energy drinks. I was excited to see an 9/10 on there. The man had some kind of doing in this as well. So thanks if you read this. Hope my big paper we worked on together over thanksgiving has the same results.     2 points

Ok let me see tuesday…class and meetings. Went to the gym and only did group ride today.      2 points

In our nursing class our community class is to make a political change to a project. They have done a study to see what the students wanted to change at the university and we are implementing phase 3 of this project. So our group is media and awareness of social events and activities.

Today we assisted the recyclable group in their project. I spent 2 hours picking through garbage to recycle what people throw away in the trash. We wore suits white plastic so we dont get our clothes dirty.Eye protection and hoe coverings. It was interesting. To see what actuelly was garbage in the end. Not very much compared to recyclable, cups, and cans and refundable emptys as well as composting. My friend even found 3 dollars in the garbage. If i get a photo will post it. Should have brought my camera. Than we had a meeting with the student union who is responsible for the bulletin boards to post the media,,, which never gets done. So we are trying to come up with a system to post events, personal adds and club postings. With distinct areas for each group so that people can clearly see what is the events on hand at the university. As well as a user friendly one log in area for a person to find out what events are going on throughout the whole university and some how keeping it all updated by somebody. As the voice project has a problem with not everyone knowing about events without doing a lot of searching online for specific events in one area. So this is our project that have undertaken to make changes in the university.     2 points…group activity meeting

Oh yah wednesday we meditiate in class and we also did Healing touch to our partners …will maybe write more about it in tomorrows blog. It is quite fascinating how it left our partners so relaxed on the one side and not so much on the other side. As we only did one side of the body to see the therapeutic touches response. Our wednesday class is quite interesting. With awareness and mindfulness and the way your cells are programmed on your emotions. will touch a bit more on this tomorrow. 6 points

I have 2 days off now but i am going to the gym both days..It s my oldest sons birthday friday # 17.

They also have a day off from school. So that will be fun. Maybe will taking them to the pumpkin patch in between all the activities they have planned. As well my oldest got on the phone and won some tickets to the radio stations birthday party.

So we are going to go in the evening. It has live music at a pub and you can win a pile of prizes including a trip to vegas, mexico and madonna tickets. Invited a nursing friend i used to work with and her man and my man. Guess i have to share the prizes with my son if i win. But i was excited as he dialed so long after they announced the call in. guess caller number 3 was stalling and wanted to be caller number 4 to win the tickets. I was amazed that when he dialed he won. So there yah go you never know.

I also have something else to post i read on tuesday on the board at the university so i wrote it down so i could post and share with you guys.  1 point not a riddle but….does this count.

The only thing a scale can measure:

Gravity’s pullon your body.

A scale cannot measure : how well you are eating, your degree of fitness, your self esteem, how well you handle stress, how good a parent/ partner you are, how good a friend you are, your sense of humour, your outlook on life, how hard you try at work or school, your soul..

ok gotta count up my points ..that is the hard part…18  points here…

Hope all is well.. well yesterday did group ride and group power.. so 2 hrs worth of excercise

Today did  my own thing in the gym ..abs and an hour of cardio…working tonight a grave yard so ought to be fun as i havent worked in awhile. suuny day today..meant to get out for a walk and such …but never happened had a drink last night and it made my morning sluggish..went to meet the man in yuk yuks for a drink and some comedy…it was the soccer coaches year end so i was his date. Also had to go to the university and help and observe the first girls and boys basketball game till 9 pm. It is counted as hours toward our group project..
Got all my housework done though.. today so i can wake up tomorrow and do nothing…but enjoy a run or a bike ride…

My workout today was an hour of biceps and back and some abs  and cardio half an hour on the stepper..= 4 points

Reading up on carbs…will make a comment about what i read tomorrow as survivor is on soon and i have a date with my little man=  2points

Happy wednesday

Boy you have to really know what your doing to upload photos..took me awhile but my new ones are up from last week.

There obviously back ones as i am going to focus on my back and biceps and try to make them grow…

I would love to lose the 5lbs but have such a tough time doing so ..will work on this for the new years and not worry about it for now. As i have to sit and right essays for days at so it becomes a tough situation..excercise or do your school work.I have been in school so long i think i am almost tired of it.. Need to get a real job soon one that pays LOL

Well i had a great weekend with the man. We grow closer each time. He is such a blessing in my life. If you guys only knew what i have dated in the past years you would understand…not to many keepers in this town. or i havent met to many..

So i am excited..He signed me up to run the half this past sunday. It was such a beautiful day …yes sunny sunny.

Nice fall weather..sunny the past few days as well other than last monday which apparantly was planned as I needed to finish the essay worth 45% due today …whew a few days to breathe before my next assignment is due…Today skipped class a bit early to catch a spinn class before zipping back out for another meeting at school in the afternoon. Tomorrow it is my personal trainers workout with me for an hour..we are concentrating on making suzys back ripped for next spring…when she is sitting on her pretty pink bike.

Well i didnt tally up my points yet sorry guys will do that today for last week… and work on this weeks…

I have popped by and seen a few posts and made some new friends and welcomed them here on BB the greatest site.

Let me see i had a great time after the marathon …mind you drank so much wine and ate a lot of chocolates and desserts

I would normally not eat… So hence my weight is the same…must be the sitting around. Oh well there is always tomorrow.my excercise is good..Did not make it to  the gym on friday but made it there for group power and spinn. This week it is full tilt ahead. Took a walk on monday to workout the pain in the calf.. doing to many calf pumps in group power…not good combined with running makes one sore girl….and tired today as well…..
