Today a strange thing happened when I was on the treadmill. I was at level 8 for 5 minutes, at about 2 minutes my heart rate went up to about 180 then at 3 minutes the heart rate decreased to 140 and then 130. I was taking in deep breaths all the time…I am not sure whether this is a good sign…all I know I was able to do the treadmill for 5 mins and at the end my heart rate was within the fat burning zone.
This treadmill was done after 8 sets of chest + shoulders + arms with heavy weight.
then again after the treadmill + rower + X trainer
I did 4 sets of back +legs with heavy weight.
then again some treadmill +rower + X trainer
Cool down + Stretch

Right now I am following P90x and a customized program of weights (alternate days) . This is so that I can reduce the bodyfat % and then after 3 months I will be following another program which will be exclusively weight training(to give the muscles an excuse to grow).
if I can follow the program then I will end up with a good healthy body as first body fat will be reduced then mass will be gained.

today I completed 1st week of p90x and already i am seeing results…before I started I had checked my bodyfat percentage and it was 20% after 1 week of p90x when i checked it was 18%. I was surprised as I had increased my caloric intake form 2000 cal to about 2500 cal.
i want to mentain and build muscle mass , so I will be increasing protein intake every week by about 50 gm , right now I am taking about 150 gm of protein.

I worked on the chest and back and the ab-ripperx watching the p90x videos. Just before that I had a general fitness checkup and was surprised that my body fat percentage was 20%. I thought that it would be less as I was quite active, but no worries as I will soon get it down. Before three months my blood pressure was 140/90 , today when I got it checked it reduced to 137/85…I am slowly making progress…:-) I have put an appointment for fitness checkup in another month. Let us wait for the results.
I will be attending a boxing session which would last for 45 minutes, I think it would be very beneficial.

I tried very hard not to train with weights for at least a month. It is the 17th day and today I could not wait any longer…I picked up some weights and did some tricep extensions ,curls, hammer curls and some shrugs for about 20 mins…

I am watching a lot of boxers and thought that it would be a good idea to incorporate their training techniques into my routine as lot of goals are similar. The boxers want endurance, speed, strength, stamina etc. I have started incorporating HIIT in my cardio. Right now I am at rest from heavy weight training, but I am continuing my morning cardio. I will be back with a customized weight training program next month…..

I thought that I was tweaking the diet by adding some carbohydrates into the diet, which was a very low carbohydrate diet. I decided to mix a bananna with some sardines and cook it for about 2 mins. this really turned out to be a good snak and it turned out that this food is rich in potassium which is very good for the muscle. Accidental discoveries are good…..:-)

I am chanmging my diet to a low carbohydrate diet rather than carb cycling for this month…i have been following carb cycling for past 2 months and was getting good results. I feel my belly fat is too much, but that does not matter because it won’t be too much in the long run…I am going to change the current situation…and I mean it…

I am currently taking rest from weight training and just doing cardio and ab exercises. I am still going to post pictures weekly and check if I have made any progress or have degraded myself (I hope not to degrade myself much as I will stick to a good diet which works for me) . I will start the p90x program next month and a customized weight training….

today was the fist day of rest after three months of ruthless training. I am feeling quite good and want to do weight training even today but as my plan states I have to give rest to the muscles. I have a little pain in my arm (not at all serious) which I think would go away in due time. I am planning to give rest to the muscles (no weight training till next month).
I am following a carb cycling diet from last month, I will continue carb cycling till next month, I do not think that extreem low carbohydrate diet is good for a long period, I feel as if there should be equal fat, carbs and protien. after the carb cycling I will go to the fat burning diet plan given by p90x.
I am doing a lot of reading into p90x and it seems that this program has got most of the things right and it suits my style of doing things.
