Big Picture Thinking

Developing a fit body is hard work.  Improvements are gradual and incremental.  Sometimes you feel you are getting no where but I found keeping my eye on the big picture goals helps a lot.  I have been training hard for the last 6 months to build a stronger physique.  Lots of burn, lots of very healthy food, lots of perserverance while seeing nothing. Now I have started leaning out to see the results. Yesterday was a little test.  A photographer was visiting Panama for the PGA golf tour and we met to take some shots in the gym.  I can see the progress - thank goodness!  I can’t tell you how many times I thought to myself, this burn better be worth it! Well it was.  Anyway, I still have a lot of work ahead but my eyes will remain firmly focused on the big picture!

I hate going months without feeling like ur getting anywhere, even though u r. Its like falling asleep in Dallas and waking up in Miami. U know u were headed there, but it almost seems like u missed the trip.

it seems like the people i notice on here that have had the most success take pictures frequently… i have this theory that when they look back over a few weeks they realize they are making changes and it helps with motivation. (just my theory) but i know that can be hard when you feel like you aren’t where you want to take pics… clearly yours are FABULOUS so i’m sure you are feeling much motivation now! :) keep it up!

Thanks for your comments! I agree re the taking photos regularly. Sometimes you really dont feel like it, and it is an effort that distracts from my training session - but its worth it to see the changes and progress.
