Many roads may lead to a single destination, some roads may take longer, or prove to be a rougher ride, but what’s important is you keep that destination in mind and reach it. Who’s to say which road was the correct one. Maybe you got more out of the rough ride, and are better able to appreciate where you are when you get there.

This is my first blog post ever in my long history on the internet. The gym I work at opened a new location a couple blocks from my house and It’s given me a fresh outlook.
While I was in the Marine Corps I was super motivated, I had motivated people all around me, and nothing on my mind but to get big. Since I’ve gotten out the stress of seeing my family everyday *ahaha and the fact that I work in the same gym I train at has gotten me into a horrible rut. My workouts are suffering severely and I lack any motivation. My diet has also been suffering greatly, My 1 cheat day per week has turned into 4.
With the opening of this brand new gym only a couple blocks from my house, I feel refreshed. It is a beautiful gym with brand new equipment, and most importantly, It’s not my place of usual business that I spend so many hours during the week. I’m going to try and update this block as often as possible, I plan on using it as self motivation.
Anyways, I hit my back and tri’s. Some heavy barbell rows, followed by wide grip pullups/lat pull downs, close grip cable rows, and deadlifts pretty much destroyed me. I just finished up with some skull crushers and tricep kickbacks and called it a day.
