Week 5

Here I am again.

 Today is one month from my first pilates class, and I have to say that I am very happy with the results. After my c-section I was feeling really down, and It wasn’t the feeling I wanted to have… but it was there….

I have tried several diets, training programs from bodybuilding and Muscles and Fitness magazine, reading transformations, supplements… and nothing, I was unable to feel good, satisfy and proud… The problems of water retention and my lack of motivation were bad… But at the end of 2008 I went to visit my family and the jokes and "not so nice comments" make me feel that I have to do something.

From January I am focus in one goal: To take care of myself as I take care of my son. I deserve it :)

- I have been doing cardio 5 times per week. I tried spinning but I do not like the fact that I cannot leave the room if I need it….I am a shy person and I did not want to explain to the instructor that I was new…stupid…I know

- I am doing weight lifting but instead of trying to lift a lot of kilos,.,,,, I prefer more repetitions and less weight (better for my back)

- And for my belly I am doing Pilates. After the c-section the pain in the belly was a problem besides that all my pants (from before pregnancy) were too small….very small…depressing…. I started the 26th january with a PT and I am really happy. I have started to feel my abs after many months. besides that I have enrolled in a course of Yoga… I started last weekend and It was very demanding…..

 

Good things is that I feel much better, I am loosing weight and my legs are looking better. My belly is a matter of time… but now I have learnt that with intention (and doing it eh?) everything is possible… everything

- Saturday:  cardio 25 min + WL (pm) CR: 1-3 + Br

- Sunday: cardio 45 min + WL (pm) R: C5-10 + Br + Abs

- Monday: off

- Tuesday: cardio 45 min (pm)

- Wednesday: off

- Thursday: cardio + wl (am) + Br(d1) + CR: 1-9

Trying to improve: Goals January 2009

After two months holidays in Spain I am back home.

I have to say that I am not very happy with my behaviour there. I have been taking care of my baby but I have forgotten to eat clean, train and do things the right things to keep myself healthy.

I have lost 1 kilo  but I am tired _:) I have been searching in bodybuilding articles and I need to find out a PT and a good diet.

New year! i thought it was a topic but i need to decide goals for the new year.

 

- January 2009: 4 days cardio + 30 streching / 3 weight lifting + 30 min cardio

cardio: spinning / cardiokickboxing/step

- Diet: 5 meals per day… Good bye coke, chocolate, bread and diverse cakes….

to eat every 3/4 hours,…. not to stay in standby from 8 to 16… no no no

Lo he conseguido

he vuelto al gimnasio, he entrenado y me he sentido poderosa.

I have returned to the GYM and I have been training. After 2 weeks off has been great to be back and to feel that I am with a lot of energy. Tomorrow i will start a new chest, shoulder and triceps program that my husband has prepared to me.

I have also started with my diet and I feel super.

Dos semanas sin entrenar

Buenoooo ya he regresado de unas vacaciones merecidas con el pequeño y mi marido. Ahora estoy un poco perezosa, pero voy a comenzar a entrenar otra vez tras las vacaciones :)

por cierto, he perdido peso en mi viaje a la ciudad museo, que bien

comienzo de la semana…

no muy bueno, estoy muy cansada y solo quiero estar tirada en el sofá. Hoy he hecho cardio en el gimnasio y es como si me hubiera pasado un camión por encima. Todo esto es porque mis hormonas están tontas o porque quizás me pasé haciendo algún ejercicio este fin de semana.

Mañana será un dia estupendo.

Domingo y en las olimpiadas Nadal-Gonzalez

Parece que Nadal está ganando el tercer set 2-4 ya veremos como acaba el tema. Yo estoy un poco cansada porque ayer me puse en la bici 30 minutos y entrené con todas mis ganas. Por la noche intenté ver una película pero me quedé dormida.

El pequeño de la casa está ahora dormido y puedo pensar en la nueva rutina que voy a comenzar en cuantor regresemos de vacaciones. Si alguien me hubiera dicho hace 3 meses que gracias al deporte y a la dieta iba a perder los kilos de más en el embarazo me hubiese reído, pues toda mi vida los gimnasios han sido como una ONG para mí, pagaba pero no íba y eso era del todo absurdo.

Ahora que tengo el gimnasio a 5 minutos de casa y que veo que gracias al deporte pierdo peso y me siento mejor estoy en el gimnasio cada vez que puedo. Perder peso es importante pero lo mejor es notar las energias que tengo y lo motivada que estoy, es la mejor sensación.

Merece la pena, no creo, que tenga nunca esos cuerpos que veo por aquí, tan bien perfilados pero al menos estoy en marcha para sentirme cada dia mejor.

 

Bueno, me voy al gimnasio…. Hoy toca pecho y triceps

Sabado…

por fin tras un mes con dieta y mucho gimnasio he conseguido entrar en mis pantalones. Es una motivacion enorme despues de 3 meses de la cesarea y algun que otro día de estres, ver que mi cuerpo se está adaptando de una forma espectacular al entrenamiento y una dieta sin coca-cola, galletas y patatas…jejeje…es que despues del embarazo con reposo absoluto ha sido complicado cambiar las pautas.

Además que el dolor tras la cesarea no podía hacer nada de deporte y me deprimí un poco. Pero con la ayuda de mi pareja y mi auto-motivacion todo comienza a ir mejor.

 

Hoy es sabado asi que vamos a ir a dar un largo paseo…..y despues a hacer Cardio Combat

Empezamos…

i would love it to write in English but I am not very good. 

This is my first post in my blog, I am trying to lose weight and gain some muscles after 9 months pregnant and 3 months being mother.

I started to train the 9th July 2008 and I have lost few kilos :)

Es más difícil de lo que yo pensaba, pero sin dudas merece la pena y estoy más que motivada, el embarazo ha sido duro y entrenar me anima y me da más fuerzas.

Esta semana comenzaré a ir a clases de step (ya os contare)
