What a whirlwind season it has been.   I am just finishing up for my final competition in Pittsburgh at the end of July.   I am really excited to hit my off season, refuel my body and to improve my physique for netxt year.   I didn’t like offseason last time because I felt I needed that structure but I have since learned how important the offseason is. 

 I will be attending the Jr Nationals so please if you are coming look for me and say hello.  I am also going to be attending the Olympia and will more then likely be working so again please please stop and see me.

Here I am one week out again and I feel great.   Can’t wait to hit that stage again.  Then 7 weeks until my last one in Pittsburgh.   That’s a lot of prep and competitions this season.  Will have been 9 months of contest preps.  OH MY

I am having the hardest time.  I held great things were going well…then had to have yet another surgery a week ago and seems my body just doesn’t want to deal with it.   I am holding water like crazy.  Any advise from my friends?    I came of the Antibiotics last Saturday so I figured by now I would be dropping the water but so far NOPEY NOPEY

Seems I am having a bit of a problem with my bodyspace.   I am all of a sudden with 5 friends requests but most of which are already friends.  When I click on them to add they ask if  I want to delete.  So if you are requesting and have not been added yet it’s because I am waiting for the problem to be fixed.  Also says I am stalking 21 people and well I was only stalking 3.  I don’t think Ronnie Coleman is going to approve me.  LOL     I just don’t want you all to think you are being ignored.  

I just got back from a fantastic weekend in New York where I attended a fitness camp.  It was great, high energy and it really helps to get you thru  those last few weeks of prep.  I love to attend a big show or something like this in the final weeks because it just gives that little extra push.  

When I came home…I found a nice surprise waiting for me.   I was picked as the Athlete of the Month on www.femuscle.org    Check it out if you get a chance.  

I wish I had been able to stay at least one more day while in the big city but with the contests coming up and all the travel I needed to get back.   I could have used a little shopping time while there.  LOL

I am feeling great.   So nice to have all the turmoil of the last month behind me.   For those that don’t know the last three weeks of prep….I had two mouth surgeries…emergencies, 17 inch snow storm, 2 deaths and well my near death when I totaled my suv 3 days before leaving for the Arnold.  I have finally caught up and gotten hold of my life again.   WHEW

Training going well and hard but it feels good.
