9 weeks out this Friday

Ok so Friday marks the 9 weeks out mark.  Starting to feel some pressure, mixed emotions and a little deflated.   I am sure it is just a mind game and this happens all the time but for some reason I feel my body is not responding the way I want it to at this point in the game.   Especially if I compare to the last two competitions.    Hanging in there though.  I will get there.  

Taking it one day at a time. 

Training this morning on stepmill and then a spinning class left me exhausted but it’s all good.  I went to the gym yesterday (Christmas day) even though they were closed.  Owner let me in to do my cardio.  It was weird to be in there all alone but nice to not fight anyone for the equipment.  LOL

Weigh in and check in tomorrow woo hoo

Well the zpak is sort of taking effect.  I can breath a little better but the coughing and congestion in my chest is unreal.   My boss told me he thinks I was on the verge of bronchitis or pneumonia.  (oh gee did I spell that right)

Cardio back into full swing and hitting it harder then ever.  Level 16 on the elliptical today for 45 min.  This was a tough cardio session.  I have another cardio session tonight…just a short one but I am going to follow it with my snazzy sprint workout.   No weights tonight.

(oh oh oh and my new elliptical is now in route from Texas)  YEEEEESSSSSS

My big dilema of the week is trying to pick some unusual ideas for a couple of photo shoots that I am doing as well as something just a little different in outfits.   So all of you creative people out there….shoot me some ideas, pics etc.   Two shoots will be alone, one with a fabulous friend of mine and another one will be with the man in my life.  (He’s on his way to supreme buffiness for this one)  LOL

Starting to see progress

Well I have finally hit that part of my training where I am starting to see some changes in my physique.  Of course this is a competition prep so I am leaning out.   I always tend to see them from the top down and mostly what I am seeing is in my arms and in my torso area and of course the abs.    I love this part of the training.  

 I ended up getting really sick this week and by Friday full blown in the chest.  SO thankfully most of my strength workouts were in and I am just focusing on getting the cardio done.  I am hoping that by Monday my Zpak will have kicked in and I will be feeling stronger again.   

I hope you are all doing well and pushing hard in the gym

So Glad the week is ooooovvvveeeerrrrr

OMG is all I can say.  I am sure there isn’t a part of my body that does not hurt.  BUT IT’S ALLLLLL  GOOD.

 Okay funny here….working on a new treadmill program to work on the fast twitch.  So doing it on the treadmill and people are looking at me like she is sooooo week.  This is because I sprint then I jump off for 30 seconds….then sprint faster and jump off for 30 seconds.   Okay so my sprints are min. long and the get up to 12mph.  I do this all the way up then all the way down.  Then I do some side shuffles for a few min and then yes you guessed it…I run backwards. People are like what is she doing…she can’t even run consistently and she runs backwards.  LOL  OMG  this workout makes the legs totally jello.  Did this the other day for 50 min and tonight I did it for an additional 30 min to my normal cardio session.  OMG  Told you that was all I could say. 

 I know I must be mental but hey if it works…I am on it. 

 LOVE YOU ALL, HAVE A GREAT NIGHT, MAMMA IS OFF TO OUTBACK FOR SOME FISH!

Decisions Decisions

I have kicked it up a notch so to speak in my training.  I decided I thought I needed to do more.  

So I have changed my training a bit to include training my body parts two times a week so a total of 6 days of strength.  I am going to do this for a couple of weeks then go back to my 4 times a week then vice versa to keep things moving and my body guessing.  

Also kicked the cardio up and doing weird things like sprints on the treadmill, lunges, running backwards and side shuffles.   (I haven’t fallen yet)  LOL

Needless to say I am TIRED

Train Hard or GO HOME right???
