I’ve been away from this blog for an entire year. Wow!
I ordered the P90X program today and I’m anxiously awaiting it’s arrival. I’m looking to the hard work I need to put into this and hopefully the results that I expect to get out of it.
Wish me luck and stay tuned to future posts, updates, and progress shots!

The hours at the office this week have been super long… between 11pm and 1 am nearly every night! Despite all the hard work I put in at my desk, I did not skip any workouts or group classes at the gym this week. So I’m pretty proud of myself about that. As for today, I had woke at 11 o’clock in the morning, a well-deserved late morning. My body (and mind) was completely exhausted. When I did get up, I got some sun. Maybe a little too much because I’m really feeling it now. Then I did some shopping for protein, shoes, and some other stuff and eventually made my way to the gym where I had a pretty good workout.
Today was the first day of week two of the beginner’s bodybuilding program I have committed to. After the workout, I biked for 30 minutes as I usually do whenever I have that kind of time. After all this, I had dinner with my mother and bought myself my new little Mac Mini so I can keep up with my online stuff. So far, I’m having a great weekend! Tomorrow I have my philosophy class and another lower body workout… Can’t wait!

It’s Monday and all I did this weekend is workout and sleep. I began my bodybuilding program and got through my first two workouts and I feel great and I’m extremely excited about the months to come. In order to mark my the beginning of my commitment, I have shaved off the beard I’ve had for over 6 six years. I chose to do this because I remember growing it to cover the fat on on my face in the first place. Ouch! Anyway, that’s history and I’m completely focused the next steps.
Since I’ve been working my ass off at the gym and the weight has been shedding off, I’ve been getting complements from family and coworkers and it’s a very good feeling. Although I’m doing this to see how far I can take my body and mind, it’s nice to be noticed. It’s definitely helps motivation.
It’s late and I’m still at the office. At least it’s my rest day so I was still been productive, but in other ways. Can’t wait to wake up early tomorrow morning and go straight the Ab Blast class at 7 am.

I’m very excited about having found bb.com! I started working out last year and this site has everything I ever thought I would need to learn, use, and maintain anything and everything having to do with exercising. Very exciting!
Anyway, as I mentioned, I began working out almost a full year ago now. I started with a program that was recommended to me by a coworker, The Testosterone Advantage Plan. This program is great for someone who’s just starting to workout on a regular basis or for some one who wants to get back into it. I did this program twice and lost a total of about 30 pounds (You can see why I like this program so much). I weighed 260 pounds when I started. Today, I weigh about 215 pounds and I still have a long way to go in order to achieve my goal… To reach my full potential.
This is why I’m here today. My body has changed and I have changed, too. As much as everything has changed, I want more! I don’t just want to change again, I want to completely transform my body. I believe that my mind is much stronger than my body. So the strength of my body is a physical reminder of how strong I really am deep inside.
On that note, I have decided to travel down the path of bodybuilding. I’m off to put together a beginner’s program and begin my journey.
Here’s to new experiences,
.Mike Marrache
