Ha! My favorite movie is on…I love it! It always inspires me to go for it, give it my all and take chances. It doesn’t matter what happens, you fall down, you get back up and keep trying, don’t let anyone stop you. I think I need to put some of this soundtrack on my ipod. Yes! Revving up your engines, listen to them howl and roar, Highway to the dangerzone!

Ahh another birthday and time to reassess my goals not just in the gym but in life and I always love reflecting back on what I’ve accomplished and done over the last 12 months. So first I am going to set my gym goal to shape my body in the next three months to the max and really get my routine dialed in so there is no doubt that I can and will make the transformation. As for my personal goals I would like to get another certification and add at least five more clients before the end of the year. And in spiritual goals I am going to get to a bible group at least once a week like I used to not just Sunday am no matter what, no more excuses! Whew! So now that it is in writing and for ALL to see o think I can’t back down. Thanks for all the support and stay tuned, love and peace.

So last week I started back to the gym after a long summer of stress and job decline. Probably when I should have been there the most! It really felt good to get back into my regular 3 days a week, Monday was chest and back, Tuesday was Shoulders and Abs, Friday was Legs so I added Saturday and killed my Arms. My man already commented that I look more toned so today I’m having all the intentions of going but it somehow got put on the back burner…I hope I can make it. I’m logging on the site today to get any added support to make sure I don’t skip today.

Saw this picture on the net and thought it was funny! I am used to seeing a normal size person in my anatomy books but where did this come from? Is it too much to ask that he has more calming eyes, maybe he’s about to roid rage!! Ha ha.

So last week I worked out 6 days in a row, and have 2 days this week. Trying to keep motivated. Checking up on others’ progress here is helping, thanks for your support!
I can already see some changes, like my legs are firmer and my arms don’t jiggle as much but I watch my muscles in the mirror when training and I am not seeing any improvement. I know it will take more time, and I’m getting my nutrition dialed in now that I have some consistency in my routines. Also starting a new set of supplements that I ordered, should be here by Friday.
Again thanks for the support, and my new goal - Rock the bikini…

Saturday I spent the afternoon moping around and feeling like crap, don’t know why just had the blues, but I have so much to be thankful for! Sometimes I want to slap myself for letting my mind get the better of me. But thanks to that laziness, I really felt like kicking it into high gear, Sunday I spent the better 1/2 of the morning in the gym and did a crazy leg workout that I am still feeling today. And Monday was just as good, I wanted to leave after cardio but made myself stay and trained like a madwoman. Today I’m going to keep it light but keep the momentum of this mindset. I’m not going to let it get to me that I felt a little down, every girl does sometimes but just remember next time that it can be great fuel for the following couple days!!

So I was so excited to go to see the contests and then had to work both Friday and Saturday. By Sunday I hadn’t found anyone to go with me and after Church and Brunch it was too late to head up to LA. I have watched some of the clips on their site but it’s not the same!! Well there’s always Vegas right? I loved the clip of the Fittest Couple. Maybe I can convince G to do it with me? Well see…

So yesterday was awesome on the food and then 9pm rolls around and I go crazy. I want chocolate and so I have a snack size bar but at least I didn’t eat more than that. Worst of all, was the guilt, why I beat myself up for it. I know it didn’t do much damage just need to get back on today. So far so good, just had FF cott. chs and strawberries.

So I have been doing well with the diet, except for Wed night, sneaked a few nachos from my boyfriend’s appetizer and had 1/2 a chicken sandwich. Tonight is UFC: Go G.S.P.!!! and going to watch at a party…no alcohol, well maybe a teq. shot to relax.
Yesterday was good, oatmeal/protein powder, salmon/brown rice, pb protein shake and ate caesar chicken salad with no dressing as I watched him eat pizza! Today, oj and protein, egg/spinach wrap, and another shake before I leave.
Workouts are consistently 1hr a day but cardio is kicking my butt! I have to have my tunes to keep me from quitting too early. But NYE will be a major dance session for several hours so I can make it up then, he he!

Yesterday was brutal. So much bad food. Bad list: Cookies, pumpkin pie, cheddar potatoes, pepperoni/ham (so salty), bread/crackers, and cheese. Good List: Roast beef, veggies and hummus, sugar free lemonade (no alcohol), green beans and fruit. Kept portions small and didn’t feel stuffed.
Back on schedule today, had fresh squeezed carrot-apple juice with oatmeal-protein pancakes! Off to train glutes and back.
