It’s been some time (months) since I’ve been able to work out consistently. My daughter started her first year of pre-school and brings home a new cold every other week. We’ve all been sick this entire school year.
I don’t know about other people, but my immune system is obviously not the best. When I lift, my immune system plummets like a stone. If anyone is sick around me, I get it within 24 hours of heavy lifting. So I’ve been idle for a while now.
Not to mention that I’m currently nursing a strained upper back.
I’ve also had to deal with a long standing health issue of Panic Disorder. This was brought to a head last summer (see the forum thread "Creatine ****ed me, hard"). Fortunately I found a doctor who took this condition seriously and I’ve been a lot better under her care.
I’m patiently waiting for illness to fade away and for my back to get strong. I need to get back into the game and get back some of the gains I made last year (and then some).
Can’t give up!
