I was wondering, is it better to do cardio before or after breakfast? Also, why is it better to do it before or after breakfast? All answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi.. well before breakfast on an empty stomach is ideal. The blood sugar is low coming off the overnight fast thus promoting fat to be used as fuel (instead of carbs/sugar) The only thing you can try is a small amount of just protein before a hard cardio session to spare any muscle you are working hard to develope.. otherwise that is the reason.. also you will have elevated your metabolism for the rest of the day. you genuinely mazimize your fat burning potential at that time…
Best of luck!!

Agreed with the comment above. I’ve seen many people make the mistake of not getting enough protein in their diets and losing good muscle mass by doing cardio and not giving their body fuel to recover. If muscle is broken down and there’s not protein in your diet, the body will break down it’s own muscle to get the amino acids it needs. If you don’t want to actually down a shake or something before cardio, maybe look into supplements like Xtend to at least get your BCAAs and guard the muscle tissue more.
