I’m hoping to hear from my doctor sometime this week. The waiting is driving me crazy, but I’m trying to stay focused. I am excited about finding a bread that I can eat on my diet that fills me up but is low on the glycemic index. It’s a little dry but it tastes good. I guess things aren’t so bad.

I’ve had the 24 hour heart rate monitor test and the echo done. Now I have to wait for the results that should be in by next Friday. I’m going to continue to focus on my diet until I’m able to work out again. I do have permision to walk, so I will take 45 minute walks. I guess it’s beter than nothing.

Today I get the 24 hour heart rate monitor. I hope it will be as easy to wear as the one I use when I do cardio. Since I’ve changed my diet I’ve noticed that my pulse is lower, about 90, which is good considering how high it was for my last appointment, 107. Maybe part of the problem was my diet. That would be nice because I really like this new diet, and I don’t want medication or surgery. I will however do what is necessary to get me back to exercising. I miss working out!

My diet seems to be going well. Since I’ve changed it, it has become much easier to do. Its not as restrictive, and I’m not as hungry. I haven’t checked my weight, but my mother said my face looks thinner:)!

I had an appointment with my cardiologist this morning. He said my resting pulse is too high. He doesn’t want me working out until I have an echo, and a 24 hour monitor done. I will have them done next week, but I don’t know when the results will come in. I hope it doesn’t require surgery. I guess I will be focusing on my diet now.

I had my doctors appointment this morning. He said I can return to working out my lower body! I have decided to start light and work my way up to where I was. I hope all is well with everyone else.

My weekend is Tuesday and Wednesday so I’m taking a day off from exercising. I hope to go bowling tomorrow. I like to do 4-5 days of workouts then do a fun exercise day. The diet is still going well. I haven’t lost any more weight, but I’m feeling good. It’s not easy to lose fat that is why I gave myself 18 months to do it. I’ve started to really not look at it as a diet, but a healthier lifestyle.

I’m excited! My knee is feeling so much better, and my diet is going well. I just made some new friends here. I was able to take a walk this morning without pain. The weight that I put on while on vacation is coming off. I forgot to mention on Thursday that my blood sugar test showed that it is in the normal range now, between 80 and 100 is normal and mine is 87! That was one of my longterm goals!:) I hope everyone else is doing well. If not I have plenty of positive energy to share. Good luck everyone and thanks for all the help and support.

I have to say that I’m glad I joined Bodyspace. The help and support I’ve received concerning my knee injury is amazing. I want to report that it is getting better and I should be back to working my lower body in about a week. Thanks everyone!

I’m a little frustrated. I injured my knee playing softball and can’t workout for atleast 10 days. I was so excited to be back from vacation and was doing well with my workouts. I guess this will give me time to work on my diet.
