After week one of training and eating healthy, I think I am getting the swing of things.
Week one consisted of me getting into routine. Making daily meals that were also healthy. Preparation is my biggest challenge. I do cook normally for my spouse and I. Week one consisted of a lot of proteins like turkey thighs, turkey burgers, eggs and egg white mixes, lot of veggies, minimum carbs and daily protein shakes. Working full time preparing is definantly a challenge and tiring but I have been doing quite well.
Workouts, it's been a while since I have been in a gym and also incorporating weight lifting. Since I workout by myself, I utalize all the weight machines until I am comfortable using some of the weights by myself. I do at least 10mins of cardio daily. I do all cardio workout on Friday's using the Insanity workout.
This week I am focusing on my actualy calorie intake, carb and proteins. Also, tweeking my workout to make sure I am working all parts. Keep you posted as my routine develops.
