day off and 21s

hi all,so far my routine change to one day on one off is working good.mind you,my job will probably stitch it all up for me before long! such is life as they say,whoever they are,who are they anyway??  my arms are feeling very tender after i tried 21s for the first time yesterday. at first i had alot of pain in both biceps for an hour and thought i had hurt myself. as it turns out,all is well with the little buggers!  i will def use this method again,i can hear my arms protesting now! tough. had a good but long day at work today,i got to drive some interesting cars so was a little different from the usual. workout tomorrow,hope my arms are ok,if not will have to change things around abit.

hi all,its pretty late for me but want to put something down,might not get a chance tomorrow. i took a few hours off this morning to workout.i tried the 21s for arms. never did it before and have to say,bloody hell it hurt. it must have took my biceps at least an hour to settle down after! amazing pump. think they will be hurting tomorrow,hope so. i got a full day in the car tomorrow but is a rest day anyway. i think if i can keep up this one day on one day off thing it will be good for me,cya.

hi all,after my day off yesterday i got up and did chest and back today,i put a little more weight on for a couple of sets and it felt pretty good. i think the change of routine to one day on one off will be good for me. i also had no work today,very unusual,so went out with some friends and the kids.i got pulled onto a huge trampoline by the kids and after bouncing up and down with them for awhile i felt totally nackered!! wish i had the kids energy. just hope my work will allow me to continue with my revised workout schedule,i hope so. i had enough now,going to bed.

after my rest day yesterday i went to work this morning for a few hours and rushed back home to do legs. got it all done in 50 minutes and jumped in the shower. i got horizontal on the bed with the intention of letting my wobbly legs calm down abit. fat chance! ten minutes later i get a call," go back to work" well difficult walking and driving the car. iknow i was walking funny cos i was getting some weird looks from my neighbour as i left!!  rest day tomorrow,sunday back and chest,cant wait.

rest day…time for a change i think.

hi all,i finally took a day off today and although i dont like to do it,i feel better for it. problem for me is that i get so into it i dont want to stop! i dont think i have been taking enough time away from the weights and am starting to feel a little jaded. i will think about changing my whole workout routine to bring in more rest days and have to discipline myself to not workout on a day off.  not sure how i will go about it as my work life is so unpredictable,wich makes it hard to get a strict pattern to my workouts.got to do something though. will do my legs tomorrow work permitting and take saturday off,theres a start.

hi all,the prime minister over here has just introduced free swimming for every kid aged upto 16 years old. they pay a one off fee of 2.00 pounds and from then on they can swim in any public pool! great for my kid and countless others. then i thought wouldnt it be great if he also let me train in any gym for 2 pounds until i am 65 years old! fat chance of that happening.   i decided not to take a day off today and hit my shoulders instead. added some weight as i have been doing the past few days and have to say it felt bloody good.although i got a severe pump in my left shoulder wich got so bad i had to stop a little earlier than i would have liked. am starting to feel it a bit tonight wich is a good sign.maybe i will have a day off tomorrow,will see how i feel in the morning.

hi all,was totally fractured last night and felt sore as hell. i slept really well and felt alot better this morning.  best nights sleep for a while. my shoulder still felt a little tender after mondays workout so just did some abwork today.worked out better than i thought it would and shoulder feels much better tonight. i wont take a rest day tomorrow,instead i will hit the shoulders and take thursday off instead.gonna try and find something to help me sleep better,not sure aht though.maybe vodka!

a slight twinge,bugger

hi all,my chest has been very sore since increasing the weight on saturday,so did legs on sunday morning.tonight they are pretty sore so was doing it right i suppose. i did arms this morning and went slightly heavier wich felt very good.only problem is that tonight i have some pain in my shoulder area wich is pants.hopefully after a nights sleep i will feel ok to do shoulders in the morning. if not i will have a rest day,hope i dont have to though. i have it in my head to rest on wednesday so will feel hacked off if i dont train tomorrow.

felt good

hi all,i woke up this morning after a real heavy sleep wich was needed.only problem was a headache wich comes with the deep sleep. so,had a breakfast and decided to get right into chest and back. it went very well and i felt stronger than usual so decided to up the weight a little. to my surprise it went very well.my chest is starting to feel that it has been worked hard so am well pleased with that. my back feels fine so far even with the added weight. mind you,my back always feels fine!  perhaps i should do back on its own,will give it some thought. took my daughter to the pool this afternoon,she has learnt to swim underwater wothout drinking half the contents of the pool! all in all a very good day. shoulders tomorrow,cool. regards to you all.

hi all,i just got back from a mental two days at work so no training until tomorrow,a tad frustrating. will do chest and back in the morning. i got home so late last night and realised i hadnt taken my creatine or whey protein.not good,so i decided to have them both at the same time before going to bed. not my best ever idea cos then i lay in bed for an hour with my stomach about 3 times the size it should be! bloody uncomfortable. next time i am out all day i will take it with me,hope i dont chuck it allover the inside of the car whilst i am driving along taking a swig!
